Fubuki was cornered in a dire situation, with Black Rose II ahead and fifteen pirate ships behind.

Although she managed to pull away from the pirate ships at the rear, if she failed to intercept Black Rose II approaching from the front, the enemy would break through to her rear, allowing Black Rose II and the fifteen pirate ships to converge, exposing her to devastating concentrated fire.

Shin nosuke would prefer to force a one-on-one duel between Fubuki and Black Rose II, and at the very least, prevent the enemy from converging.

"Enemy ship approaching rapidly from the front! We'll end up passing each other!"

Five small missiles launched from the missile launcher soar toward Black Rose II.

Shin nosuke anticipated Black Rose II's evasive maneuver and drifted Fubuki accordingly.

"Damn it! Whether it's the barrage or the missiles, these attacks are annoying and troublesome!"

Velvet reluctantly slowed down Black Rose II and initiated evasive maneuvers.

Escaping the range of the barrage and dodging incoming missiles one after another was no challenge for Velvet, even with her abilities.

Velvet's ability as an Awakened One is similar to Milena's precognition, but with a slight difference from Milena's version.

While Milena's ability stems from accumulated knowledge and experience, augmented by her brain's advanced computational power, Velvet's is more intuitive, rooted in experience but heavily influenced by instinct.

Although her precognitive ability is vastly superior to that of ordinary humans who are not Awakened, compared to Milena or other Awakened ones, Velvet's accuracy in prediction is relatively low.

Her predictive accuracy is high when ambushing targets as a space pirate, but due to her lack of proper knowledge as an Awakened being, she fails to fully utilize her abilities. When facing opponents of her own level, her limited foundational experience causes her brain's calculations to be heavily influenced by wishful thinking, ultimately reducing her accuracy.

Taking advantage of a fleeting opening in Black Rose II's attack, Fubuki maneuvered around to strike from the side.

"Hmph, don't underestimate me. I'll devour you!"

Still calm and composed, Velvet showed no sign of haste.

She boldly challenged Fubuki head-on.

Fubuki and Black Rose II began combat at such close range that they could be clearly seen with the naked eye.

A close-quarters melee battle, exchanging rapid maneuvers and gunfire while constantly shifting positions.

At such close range, dodging attacks and countering simultaneously left no time to lock onto the system.

Shinonsuke slid Fubuki sideways, targeting the left-side engine of Black Rose II.

"Master, three enemy ships have entered the airspace. They're attempting to flank us from behind."

"Time's running out! Other enemy ships will catch up soon. Then—!"

Shinnosuke closed the distance with Black Rose II, aiming to plunge into chaos by dragging in the other enemy vessels. But this time, Velvet's foresight was faster.

In the brief moment Shinnosuke's attention was diverted to the other enemy ships, he lost his distance—now half-surrounded with the planet Karpa behind him.

"Warning! If we continue like this, we'll be pushed into the planet's gravity well!"

Moreover, Fubuki was positioned just at the edge of the planet's gravity well, while enemy ships continued to arrive one after another.

"Good! Perfect positioning. Let's force that annoying ship into the planet's gravity well. All ships, attack simultaneously!"

At Velvet's command, the pirate ships simultaneously launched their attack toward Fubuki.

Fubuki, backed by the planet and caught in a partial encirclement, had already begun to feel the planet's gravitational pull.

Though barely dodging attacks from the enemy ships, she could no longer maneuver as she wished, and maintaining attitude control became impossible.

Backed by the planet, she was slowly but steadily being pulled in by the planet's gravity.

"I wanted to finish you with my own hands, but oh well. This is it. I'll drop you into the planet's gravity and burn you to ash, leaving no trace behind!"

Fubuki was finally captured by the planet's gravity, overwhelmed by a final barrage of concentrated fire.

Dragged into the atmosphere of Planet Kāpā, Fubuki descended, her hull glowing red from the compression of air.

Eventually, Fubuki's signal vanished from the Black Rose II's radar.

"Aha-ha-ha! Got 'em! Completely burned up! Kinda anticlimactic, wasn't it?"

Velvet laughed triumphantly, convinced of victory.
