To Planet Torchigi

The time has finally come to set off on vacation.

With Shinosuke leading the group, a total of nine people—Mireena, Seira, Andy, Elen, Marks, Madelia, Rina, and Iris—have completed preparations to depart aboard the escort vessel Fukuki.

Since Fubuki has extra rooms beyond those reserved for Shinnosuke's main crew, the journey will be comfortable, and with Marks having set up temporary seating in the bridge, passengers can enjoy the endless expanse of stars on a large monitor, making the trip both comfortable and entertaining.

Although Shinosuke is at the helm in Fubuki's cockpit, this time around there are plenty of backup crew members available—Milena, Andy, Marks, and Madelia—making the voyage considerably easier.

Since this is a vacation, Shinosuke has decided to allow drinking aboard the ship.

Drinking is strictly prohibited in the bridge, and as captain, Shinosuke is also forbidden by regulations from drinking while navigating.

With that in mind, everyone else had agreed to save drinking for after their arrival at Torchigi, so no one made any move to drink.

The journey to their destination, Torchigi, would take about five or six days, including one space jump.

"Approaching spatial jump point. Destination coordinates locked."

Hearing Madelia's report from the central operations seat, Shinnosuke placed his hand on the throttle lever.

"Accelerate to jump speed."

Shinosuke sharply pushed the throttle lever forward, accelerating Fubuki.

"Reached jump speed. Spatial jump countdown: 5, 4, 3..."

"Alright, wai—"

"LET'S GO!!"

Rina and Iris were both in high spirits and in great moods.

Fubuki continued its steady voyage and arrived at the planetary orbit of Planet Torchigi five days after departure.

Permission to descend into the atmosphere has been granted from the Torchigi Orbital Station.

Shin nosuke entered the atmospheric re-entry sequence upon receiving Seira's report.

Descending manually is no problem either.

"Everyone, secure your seatbelts... Descent point marked. Hold bow-up angle at 50 degrees. Begin descent."

Under Shin nosuke's control, Fubuki descended smoothly into the atmosphere of Planet Torchigi without a hitch.

Waiting for Fubuki upon its descent was a blue sky and an endless, breathtaking world of water.

"Wow, such a beautiful sea... I wonder if there are whales here?"

Seira's eyes sparkled as she gazed upon the stunning scenery.

She wasn't alone.

Milena and Lina were no different.

"This isn't actually the sea. Planet Torchigi doesn't have oceans."

"Wait, what do you mean? It's so vast—how isn't this the sea?"

Shin nosuke gave a wry smile as he explained to Seira's question.

"What lies before us isn't the ocean, but a vast lake. Planet Torchigi consists entirely of land—over seventy percent of the planet is landmass. What we're seeing now isn't the sea, but a massive lake situated within the landmass, making up the remaining thirty percent of the planet's surface area. The water here is freshwater, not saltwater like seawater. Though people often describe planets' continents as being surrounded by seas, on Torchigi it's the opposite—this lake is surrounded by land. Unfortunately, that means the lake is home primarily to freshwater fish, and whales don't exist here."

"Huh, I see. So there are no whales here... That's a bit disappointing."

Seyla looked slightly disappointed.

"But there's still something to look forward to. The destination, Niko Hot Springs, is located right by the Chūzeiji Lake. Chūzeiji Lake is shallow and its surface is calm, so swimming is possible. Aside from not being seawater, it's just like the sea for leisure activities."

Apparently, all the women had brought swimwear with them.

The energy among the women and Andy reached its peak.

Eventually, the ship Fubuki docked at the harbor of Chūzeji Lake.

The group would be staying at a resort cottage located by the lake.
