137. Trokt Lance Stamped 2
Near the heroes, Aria, Albert, and Sophia fought, keeping a close eye on the heroes’ movements.
Aria and Sophia use ice magic; Albert uses a bow—specifically, the arrow Shiro crafted.
"Still, that spear's impressive. I'm starting to think we'd be more efficient with bows," Aria said.
"Yeah, I suppose," Sophia said, a wry smile tugging at her lips.
Aria and Sophia can wield fairly powerful annihilation magic, but in situations like this, we can't just destroy the forest outright—we have to tune the power down. Which means, ironically, it's harder to damage Trakt Lance now.
A bow that could hit its mark with precision made electrical attacks far more efficient—turning out to be the most effective method after all.

Meanwhile, elsewhere. Sherina, Altia, and Yuiina were also engaged in combat. All three had been comrades in a former adventuring party, but it had been a long time since they’d reformed their party and joined battle together.
Shelina and Yui na pierce Trakt Lancer with a laser-like spell powered by light magic.
They had an affinity for light magic, but had never made use of it before—only a limited set of standard spells were available to them.
But the laser beam spell Shiro taught me— it’s powerful.
"This is impressive," Shelia said. "The mana efficiency is good, it's easy to aim, and the power is outstanding."
"Yeah, magic up to now feels childish compared to this," Yuina said.
“This blade’s something else,” Altia said, testing the sword Shiro had given her. “Cutting edge doesn’t dull at all—noticeable difference already.”
They truly meant it—three of them, genuinely impressed.

Above the border between the northern and western sectors, Shiro, Mitoka, Shestia, and Kotone prepared to unleash annihilation magic upon the Trakt Lance.
"Fire!" Shiro shouted. And then,
"【Homing Lightning Needle】!" Shiro and Mitoka.
"【Homing Ice Needle】!" Shestia.
Thousands of white, glowing light arrows rained down.
"Hamu-chan, please!" Kotone.
About a hundred hamsters floated into the sky and fired Lightning Needles in unison.
Shiro suddenly noticed something at a particular point and descended toward it.
"Shiro, something there?" Shestia asked.
"Yeah, just wanted to take a look at that Trakt Lance over there."
Shiro said that and approached a single Trakt Lance.
The Trakt Lance still had a Mad Boar skewered on its branch. Neither the Mad Boar nor the Trakt Lance was dead yet—but both were infected with Miasma, their mental states severely impaired.
Closer inspection revealed numerous traces of Stone Bulet activation around the Trakt Lance.
As Shiro approached, the Trakt Lance launched a Stone Bulet using earth magic.
Shiro blocked it with a barrier, then fired a Lightning Stun, freezing its movements.
"Shiro, that Trakt Lance is an abnormal specimen."
"Yeah. And it fired Stone Bulet—something it shouldn't be able to do. Checked the stats—no earth magic listed. Just… strange."
Shiro scanned both creatures, then examined the Miasma spirit.
"Ah, I see it now," he murmured.
"Senior, what did you figure out?" Kotone asked.
"Ah, why can a monster use magic it shouldn’t be able to? Why doesn’t鉴定 flag it...?"
"Huh, so...?" Kotone started to say.
At that moment, they all heard the dragon’s roar and turned toward it—just in time to see the beast unleash its breath attack.
