Epilogue

"Ah… even a few months off is tough, huh…" Shiro grumbled.

During the past few months he'd been in Filidia, he'd done absolutely no coding—worse, he'd spent that time in a much more intense way—so the code for the system he'd just finished before leaving had completely slipped from his mind.

When systems get this complex, momentum matters. A gap in work makes it painful. Shiro muttered, "Where's my memory enhancement now?"

"Shiro, that's perfect for preventing brain fog," Mitoka teased him. Was it just him, or had Mitoka's personality taken a wrong turn? Shiro wondered, perplexed.

Incidentally, Mitoka had a biological body. Magic didn't work on Earth, after all.

"Shiro-senpai, you'll be fine! You can do anything, Shiro-senpai!" Kotone said, offering gentle words. Kotone had been visiting Shiro's house often during summer break.

Then—ping.

"Huh? Who's that, this time of day?" Shiro opened the door.

"Shiro-san, it's been a while," said Firumia, standing there.

"Eh… Firumia-sama?" Shiro gasped.

"Ah, Firumia-sama, hello!"

Mitoka and Kotone both stepped forward to greet her.

Then, a shadow emerged from behind Firumia.

"Hello. I'm here," said the figure, and everyone froze.

"Shestia! Wait—can you actually come to Earth now?!"

"Yeah. I followed everyone here," Shestia said.

“Fufu. Finally, I’ve managed to enable a limited conversion toward Earth’s direction, though only in fragments. It’s much like the method I use to manifest on Earth, really. But with Shiro’s protection加持, it’s special,” Firumia says with a smile.

"Does Firumia's arrival mean the preparations are complete?"

Shiro listened with a smile brimming with anticipation.

"Yeah, that's right," Firumia replied with a broad smile.

I'm always ready. I had everything prepared so I can go anytime.

"We should go too," Kotone and Mitoka said.

"Is that so? Then, let's be off," Firumia said, clapping her hands together.

With Filidia’s call, everyone shimmered with light and vanished.

The four faces, shown just before vanishing, were smiles brimming with anticipation for the new world now made possible.
