**Dungeon Floor 55: Status Briefing**

**Status Briefing**

**Side: Elju**

My duties for the day are finished.

Yesterday, we had an incident with Deryu-san launching an attack, but today passed by peacefully. As for Yuki-san, it seems he has been taking it easy, as there have been no movements from Rurua-sama’s side.

Right now, we have finished dinner and are taking a moment to relax.

Regarding the dungeon’s schedule, although we were slightly delayed yesterday, Deryu-san’s participation has made things much easier. Since Oriel and I cannot appear in public, having Deryu-san join us is a great relief.

"I’m sorry to the Fairy tribe for splitting you all up today, but I needed you to learn how to operate the various facilities. Elder, how is that going?"

"It is going quite well, actually. Better than expected. They are usually focused solely on crafting, so it seems they are enjoying the variety of new experiences."

"I see. For the time being, I’d like to keep the current personnel allocation to prepare for the arrival of the 300 people from the Roschur Kingdom. What do you think?"

"Yes, I agree with that. Unless something major happens, the current layout should be fine. Those 300 people will eventually be heading to their respective workplaces anyway, so we should prioritize getting the facilities running smoothly first."

"That helps a lot. Now, how is the situation in each sector? It’s a hassle, so let’s just have our meeting while we enjoy some tea."

As Yuki-san looked toward Eris-san, she nodded and began to speak.

"The training grounds are now primarily used as individual workplaces, so there are almost no issues there. Regarding the family registry, I have finished creating them for the 57 people. The only problem is that everyone is choosing their own birthdays; it seems dates don't mean much in the countryside. As for the entertainment facilities I’m in charge of, Narjia-san has taken over the bathhouse section, so I’ve left that mostly to her. Well, Narjia-san is still new here, so I am assisting her. The other entertainment facilities are still unstaffed, so they aren't operational yet."

"Yes. I am Narjia, in charge of the entertainment and bathhouse facilities. We’ve set the usage fee at 5 copper coins per visit and are operating with a staff of seven. There are no issues with customer traffic or operations. Ah, if I had to mention a problem, the men’s restroom requires a lot of maintenance when cleaning, so I would like to request male personnel from the incoming 300 people."

Hmm, so that luxurious bathhouse is doing well. I’ve cast transformation magic on it, so I should go visit it tomorrow.

"Next is me. Since Eris already covered the training grounds, I’ll skip that. Regarding the administrative office accounting, we’ve been running the shops, and the cash revenue for the past two days is 12,235 Forl. That’s 12 platinum coins, 2 gold coins, 3 silver coins, and 5 copper coins. The revenue breakdown is 70% from shops, 10% from the commissary, and 20% from the bathhouse and entertainment facilities. Honestly, the Fairy tribe is about to run out of funds. Well, luckily, these revenues are all from state-run stores, so we can use them as we please. Honestly, if we don't return some of that money in the form of wages, they’re going to dry up."

"…It is truly embarrassing. I have warned them, but those fools have lived in the depths of the forest for so long that they have lost their sense of money."

"Well, as long as they are in the training grounds, they won't go hungry, but having them just stare at luxury goods with their fingers in their mouths isn't good either. However, I’m sure they’ve learned their lesson over these past two days, so I think it’s fine to observe for a while. If they buy luxury goods normally, they won't go on a spending spree. The main cause was the 'bulk buying' that came from the novelty of it all. Oh, also, regarding the shop report, I’ll hand over the documents tomorrow, but since we received 10 additional staff members, operations have become much easier. The cash registers are simple, so they should get used to them in a few days. As for handling money, we’ve assigned people who are good at arithmetic, so there are no problems for now. Actually, I thought stocking shelves would be difficult, but since we can use magic for transportation, it’s faster and more accurate than us doing it manually. In a way, they are the perfect talent for the job."

*Sigh*, it seems the Fairy tribe is really showing off their abilities at that shop. Giving people various jobs really reveals their hidden potential.

"Hmm. As Ratz said, let’s watch how the spending goes. It’s only been two days since we opened the shops. Let’s observe for seven days. That makes a full week. Elder, can I count on you?"

"Yes, leave it to me. I will ensure we stick to the monthly wage policy no matter what..."

"Well, it wouldn't be good if the Fairy tribe dried up. It would just make my wage calculations a headache, so feel free to leave some leeway."

"…I will make them follow it, absolutely."

It must be tough for the Elder. I suppose you could call it the shame of one's own kin.

"Next is me. Though, the adventurer district isn't operational yet, and the dungeon construction itself isn't finished. We have the inn, shop, and tavern buildings, but we haven't finished setting up the equipment. No personnel arrived for that sector this time, so for now, there’s nothing to report. Regarding complaints, there are many requests to stock Super Ratz luxury goods in the commissary. However, as you know, the commissary is a small shop, and we are only stocking a limited selection of items. What should we do?"

"Well, just like with the complaint box, why not put out a survey box and stock the top-voted items? As for space, we can use the survey to decide which items to remove."

"I see, that would free up space. Ratz, can we put out a survey box like that?"

"I don't mind. It was pitiful watching Riel run back and forth to Super Ratz for those items."

"Whoa, I just kept telling them to go to Super Ratz themselves."

"Well, Milly has experience as a guild staff member, and I have experience as a merchant. Riel has only ever been an adventurer, so she isn't used to that kind of customer service."

"If that was fine, you should have told me sooner!! Do you know how many times I went back and forth today..."

Riel-san, you poor thing. I can appreciate her earnestness, but it feels like she’s just spinning her wheels.

"Then, next is me. For security, we received about 5 personnel, and we are patrolling each area without issues. The walkie-talkies we received are very convenient for handling trouble. Though, the only incidents have been the occasional lost Fairy tribe member during their free time. Riel is mainly in charge of training ground security, so I’ll leave that to her."

"Yup! From my end, there’s nothing special to report about the training grounds. Oh, but thanks to the electricity, quite a few residents are staying up late, so there might be some sleepy kids in the morning. Also, the 3 people assigned to me are doing night shifts for the first time, so they seem to be having a tough time."

"Security work forces a lot of strain on people. I want them to be satisfied because the pay is high, but it’s a problem if they collapse. If they look unwell, don't push them."

" "Yes." "

Hearing these reports, I realize the night watch soldiers at the castle must have had it just as tough...

"…Me next. I’m part of the security team, but right now I’m tied up with the farmland in the work district. Sorry to you both. I currently have about 10 people helping me, and together with the Goblins and the modified Pillbugs, we are taking care of the crops. We are also pushing forward with developing new farmland. Especially thanks to the modified Pillbugs, plowing the fields has become very easy. As for the Goblins, I’ve left them in charge since we first created the farmland, so I’m very relieved. The Fairy tribe didn't seem to touch the soil at first and were hesitant, but after picking and eating the crops, they seem to be looking forward to growing them themselves."
