On the television screen, a young man and woman were embracing. Then, the screen cut to black, and the ending credits began to roll.
"Whew. I found myself completely drawn in."
"Indeed."
As Ratz said, we had been utterly captivated. We were currently watching a DVD that my husband owned. At first, I had mistakenly thought there were tiny people living inside the box, but apparently, this is a device that records images—like a Call—allowing one to view them at any time. He said it was technology rather than magic, though I still struggle to grasp the concept. Well, my husband wouldn't lie to me, so it must be as he says.
The story was a romance set in the very school that we are currently running together with him. So, this is the kind of school my husband envisioned. A place to strive in one's studies and aim for a future career. And while working hard at those studies, one makes friends, plays, gets scolded, and falls in love. It was truly wonderful.
"Haa~, a school, is it? I spent my entire time at the monastery just studying, after all."
"Heh, so that’s how it was for you at the monastery, Rurua? I’m not very good at studying myself. But the sports clubs sound nice."
"That’s true. I’m interested in the Kendo club. It’s a club activity using swords, right?"
