第131掘:配置発表 (Part2)
"Of course. We can't do this without Ria."
"M-me?"
"Yes. If something happens, you’ll likely be our trump card."
Seraria and I said as much, and the others nodded in agreement.
"What do you mean by that?"
Ria tilted her head, confused. But everyone else understood. If, by some chance, the Demon Lord proved too much to handle, we would have no choice but to rely on Ria, the Hero. It feels terrible to leave things to divine intervention, but we absolutely must ensure the Demon Lord is defeated.
And so, despite the risks, we decided to bring Ria to the battlefield. Yes, I have one more task to complete before we even reach the Demon Lord's castle: I must awaken Ria, the Hero.
It’s an impossible mission. Honestly, I’d rather leave it alone and take my time, but my wives insist that preparing for the worst-case scenario is only natural. They’ve even given me their permission—or rather, their orders—to get intimate with Ria as soon as possible.
What kind of world has wives telling their husband to go embrace another woman? And they specifically ordered me to love her properly, too.
The time limit is about six days. A deathmatch is about to begin—either I’ll be blown away, or I’ll grow closer to Ria. This is scarier than the Demon Lord!
You haven't forgotten about Ranks, have you? And you haven't forgotten about Ria, the Hero of Love, either, right? Yuki is truly incredibly busy this time around.
My apologies, but I will be taking tomorrow off for typo corrections and the like.
Now then, continuing from yesterday:
Q. What games or stories did you use as references?
A. Story Edition Part 2. Let's go with regular novels, books, and movies today.
・Romance of the Three Kingdoms
It goes without saying, but if you're dealing with other worlds, strategy, and politics, this is a genre you should look into at least once. There are countless novels, movies, and, of course, games.
"Now is the time!! *Jang, jang!!*"
"Is this... Kongming's trap!?"
・Harry Potter
This also has a wide range of novels and movies. Naturally, the novels have more detailed descriptions, so I think you can enjoy them even if you've seen the movies.
・Sanada Ten Braves
A story about the ten people who served the fictionalized Sanada. This is also interesting. There are many fictional characters who became famous because of this story, like Sarutobi Sasuke, which shows just how popular it was.
・The Art of War (Sun Tzu)
Switching gears, this is a military treatise.
There are others like *Wuzi*, *Weiliaozi*, *Six Secret Teachings*, *Three Strategies*, *Sima Fa*, and *Li Wei Gong Wen Dui*, but Sun Tzu is the most famous.
It has been translated all over the world.
Rather than just a military treatise, it’s more of a way of life.
It can be applied to anything. If you take a look at it, a new world might open up for you.
・Weapons and Armor Encyclopedia
Something I bought as a hobby. It’s best to have one that is easy to understand with illustrations.
If you do that, your descriptions of weapons will become more detailed, and you can think about their origins and how they were manufactured. The same goes for how they are used.
・Star Trek Series
*Star Trek: The Original Series*, *Star Trek*, *Voyager*—these are Western TV dramas.
They are full-blown sci-fi. The ideas are imaginative and fun to watch.
Oh, and this was my old man's hobby, so it doesn't mean I'm an old man myself.
・Jikou Keisatsu (Time Limit Investigator)
A drama starring Joe Odagiri, whose hobby is investigating cases that have reached their statute of limitations.
The gags are excellent. It’s damn funny.
If you want to grasp the tempo of comedy, watch this.
・Die Hard Series
"So you were alive, McClane?"
"I get that a lot."
A movie series starring the immortal detective Bruce Willis.
I don't think it needs an explanation.
・Jurassic Park Series
A dinosaur panic movie.
I think it’s easy to understand the descriptions of monsters and the situation of panic.
The content is interesting, too.
・MIB: Men in Black
A sci-fi story about Earth's space administration agents.
It’s funny, so you should watch it. A treasure trove of American jokes.
・Sadako Series
I’d like to see someone try to deal with Sadako by poking her in the eye or using a small TV just once.
As you know, it’s excellent as horror.
Also, I wonder if someone could take on Sadako by saying, "Don't see with your eyes, feel it."
・Lord of the Rings
That’s the one, right? I know, it’s the story about King Sadako.
And that’s where I’ll end it for this time.
If there’s any genre you want to ask about, let me know.
Until next time.
