I was currently staring intently at the reports and documents spread out before me.
After hearing from my husband, Yuki, that there was a possibility another organization was developing magic swords, I immediately began preparations to crush them. However...
"Deryu-sama. Is there a problem?"
"No. Yuki’s judgment is sound. But, I can’t help but feel like something is missing."
"Missing, you say?"
"Yes. Yuki’s current plan to crush them is strictly to prevent the damage from spreading. It’s more of a 'flushing out' tactic rather than an attempt to identify and expose the organization behind the magic sword development."
"That is true. Since destroying the base is a brute-force approach, it is indeed more of a flushing-out operation."

No, the investigation stalled because we identified the Hifi Holy Kingdom as a candidate and jumped to the conclusion that it was them. That’s where the trail went cold."
"I see. And by 'something missing,' you mean...?"
"Exactly. If possible, I’d like to secure even a low-level grunt from the organization supplying these magic swords through other channels. But given the incident with Mino-chan, they might already be on high alert... Should I just proceed with the raid and leave the credit to August?"

I want Yuyu, Sakura, and the others to live in a happy world. I absolutely refuse to let them experience the pain of losing their parents or siblings as I did.
...And I absolutely do not want to lose my beloved husband.
"Deryu-sama. I understand your feelings, but the Master will return soon. It would be problematic if you were still indecisive and hadn't taken action by then..."
"You’re right. Time is limited. ...Very well. The raid on the base will proceed as planned at midnight. Continue monitoring the comings and goings as before. Even after the raid, keep up the surveillance; if anyone tries to make contact, mark them."
"Understood."
