### Chapter 337: Taking Everything at the End

**Side: Cleena**

I am forced to realize that what I know is, as expected, merely a handful—a single speck of dust.

Since meeting Yuki, it has been only a short time. No, if I consider that I became his wife that very day, I was shocked to find out he was a Dungeon Master. When I heard he had a mission to save the world, I was shocked even further.

On top of that, he was at odds with a legendary Holy Sword user who intended to destroy the continent. I felt relieved when that was stopped, but then I found out my own homeland was being attacked by an unknown enemy. The cause was a god who had despaired of the people of this continent; Yuki stopped it without a single sacrifice and reconciled with them, which was a massive shock.

Just when I thought that was the end of it, there was another group possessing mysterious magic swords, and now we are incredibly busy.

This is what has happened to me in about a month.

Honestly, I know that even to me, what I’m saying sounds completely nonsensical.

However, it is all true.

Suddenly, I recall the saying: "Truth is stranger than fiction."

It is a proverb from Yuki’s country, meaning that reality can produce stranger occurrences than any novel.

But, I had intended to get used to it.

Yuki is not originally from this world.

Therefore, it is impossible for him to fit into the common sense I know.

No, perhaps it is arrogant for me, someone who only knows magic and books, to speak of common sense, but for that reason, I could accept that Yuki’s perspective and ideas were different, and there were solid grounds for his way of looking at things.

Yuki’s method is to take the paths left behind by his world's predecessors and improve upon them in his own way.

He lacks the art of magic, but he uses his head—literally. He has ideas for improving people's lives and—though there are also countless chilling ideas for killing efficiently—that is precisely why he has such a wealth of knowledge.

At the end of a long history, the crystallization of that is my husband, Yuki.

I think it honestly: there is no husband or man in this world superior to Yuki.

There are others from Yuki’s world, like Taiki and Taizo, but no matter how you look at it, Yuki is ten steps ahead of them.

...I’ve strayed from the topic. This is just me doting on him.

So, Yuki’s eccentric actions have logic behind them; they are unavoidable.

However...

"Huge, provide cover!!"

"Blade, stop!! You idiot!! Ah, damn it. Move out of the way on your own!!"

*BOOM!!*

The creature before my eyes was incomprehensible.

That creature’s name is Blade fi Roday.

He is the one who stands at the pinnacle of one of the six great nations, the Roday Kingdom. He is the King.

Upon reading Yuki’s letter, that King had immediately jumped out of his room, out of the castle, and single-handedly launched a raid on a corner of the castle town—the warehouse district.

...Without a lie or fabrication, that is literally what happened.

Without investigating beforehand, without hesitating, he charged straight into this warehouse and led the vanguard, cutting into the ruffians inside.

...What is a "King" again?

That creature’s behavior is baffling.

Before even considering his conduct as a King, his fundamental principles of action are impossible to understand.

For now, Yuki and the rest of us hurriedly followed, splitting into groups to build a perimeter and to contact Samantha’s mother, desperately providing cover for that strange creature.

"Damn it. So he’s an intuition-type..." Yuki mutters.

"Intuition-type?"

I am cooperating with Samantha, surrounding the warehouse area with a magic barrier to ensure the enemies cannot escape.

Therefore, I have the leeway to converse with Yuki, who is providing support with magic.

"Yeah, an intuition-type. His instincts are sharp. He moves relying on that. There’s no basis or reason."

"...Meaningless."

"Oh, yeah. But people whose intuition is often correct do exist. Well, in his case, it probably isn't 'genuine' intuition, though."

"...What do you mean?"

"That is... hold on. Ria, Jessica, secure the back first!! Ensuring the magic swords are safe—it’ll be a pain if they get damaged in the fighting!!"

"Yes!!"

Ria and Jessica had been heading to support the strange creature under Yuki’s instructions, but they immediately vanished into the back of the warehouse.

Because we have to hold back appropriately, coordinating with people from this continent is extremely exhausting.

Especially with martial arts; if someone who knows what they’re looking at watches, they’ll immediately realize you’re pulling your punches.

That is why I honestly think those two are amazing for not letting that be discovered.

"Alright, with this, we should be able to secure the evidence. Now, to continue. Genuine intuition is a natural gift. But that guy, old man Blade, is the product of his experience until now."

"Experience?"

"Yeah. When we were talking at the castle, he said he used to be a mercenary, right?"

"...Indeed. I have a memory of that."

"It’s the same as magic or anything else. Just like it’s hard to convey the sensation of success to others, based on his experience, that old man concluded that this was the place where the magic swords were hidden."

"...Hmm. I understand to an extent. He has a firm reason within himself, but there is no way to convey it? Is that it?"

"Something like that. Things like the 'atmosphere' or 'killing intent' are hard to understand. There are skills like 'Presence Detection,' but it would be difficult to convey that sensation to someone who doesn't have that skill, right?"

"...Hmm. I understand. That is close to impossible."

"That’s why his actions are, in a sense, the fastest solution."

"...If the King moves, some recklessness is overlooked, and if evidence is found, no one can complain. If we had reported the mass possession of magic swords to the country under normal circumstances, the King wouldn't have been able to move, right?"

"Exactly. Besides, we, as the messengers, are important collaborators. The country can't have people like us dealing with their own magic sword possessors. It’s a disgrace, as a nation."

"In that case, is there a possibility that we wouldn't be able to confirm the magic swords?"

"That’s it. Because of the nature of the items, it wouldn't be strange if they were hidden or if it were reported that they didn't exist. But if they start plotting those kinds of internal squabbles, there’s a possibility it will be too late. That’s why he was aiming for the result where that old man would run wild, chase them down, and before anyone knew it, the people involved would be caught up in it and it would be over."

"...He didn't look like he was thinking that far ahead."

"Intuition-types usually don't think about the details. Likely, old man Huge and that Prime Minister guy named Ronri will handle the adjustments around that... Poor things."

For some reason, Yuki’s eyes looked a bit distant as he explained that.

"...Does Yuki also have an acquaintance who is an intuition-type?"

"...Yeah. A genuine intuition-type. I had friends who would hit the mark without any reason at all."

"...I’m sorry. I was insensitive."

If I think about it for a moment, I can understand.

Yuki’s friends are very few in this world.

In my position as his guard, there are no friends of Yuki in this world that we don't know about.

In other words, a person who doesn't correspond to my memories must, naturally, be someone from Yuki’s hometown.

"Hm? Ah, don't worry about it. It just came up in the explanation of intuition-types, and now I have Cleena and the others, so I’m not lonely at all."

"...Hmm. Thank you. I will support you as your wife."

"Anyway, that’s fine. It’s a bit late to ask, but Samantha, did you know about that old man’s personality?"

Now that I think about it, Samantha has been silent for a while—did she know about that King?

"..."

"My lady. I understand you are stunned, but Yuki-sama and Cleena-sama are asking you a question."

"Hah!? O-oh, I’m sorry. I had no idea he had such a personality. I only met him when I was small..."

I see.

Samantha seems to be more shocked than we are.

...That can't be helped.

Even from my perspective, knowing that he is the top of his own country gives me a stomachache.

"Ahaha... Well, he is known as the 'Sword King Blade,' a famous general who is always at the vanguard. Huge-sama, the magician who supports him, and Ronri-sama, who excels at commanding and supporting the army. It is said that a battlefield where these three are gathered never stops."

"...I had thought that was just a rumor."
