I picked up a discarded skewer, likely from yakitori, and returned it to the old man.

The old man then pushed me away with his hand, knocking me off balance.

Just then, a knock echoed from the old man's room.
"Sorry, looks like my client's here. If you interfere, I'll report it to the guild."
With that, the old man closed the window.
"That bastard..."
"Dressa, calm down. Hiiro seems fine, and we shouldn't interfere with his work. He did show understanding for our cleaning efforts, even if he was rude about it."
