As we were talking, I spotted Kagura-oneechan and the others. They must have seen us, too, because they headed straight our way.

The three of them greeted us while chatting about various things. Looking at them, they seemed well-rested; there was no sign of lingering fatigue. I wonder if Kagura-oneechan is feeling a bit embarrassed about yesterday? But she was tired, so it couldn't be helped. I don't mind at all, so it’s fine.
"We’ll continue to show you around Weed today, okay?"

With that, we all left the inn together and headed to the bakery.

All three of them were astonished. Come to think of it, the bread in Faide was baked until it was hard as a rock. If I recall correctly, Onii-chan said that the ingredients needed to make bread fluffy hadn't been discovered there yet or something?
"Hey now, Kagura. Don't try to grab them with your bare hands."
"Eh?"
"Don't 'eh' me. Look at the other customers. You use those tongs to pick up the bread, place it on the tray you brought, and then pay, okay? Got it?"

Hearing that, Catherine-san and George-ojichan also grabbed trays and started picking out bread.
"Alright, let's pick ours too."

We all bought our favorite breads and ordered drinks at the cafe next door to eat them. This bakery collaborates with the cafe, and one of the reasons it’s so popular is that you can eat the bread you bought right there.
My breakfast today is an egg sandwich, a melon pan, and cocoa. It’s delicious.
"Fresh-baked bread really is incredibly tasty."

"Not just you, but why are the other two buying so much bread? Is it a custom over there to eat a lot in the morning?"
Just as Labyris-chan said, all three of them had bought a mountain of bread. Everyone buys so much that I wonder if it’s just a habit.

I see. In that case, it can't be helped. After all, they smell amazing and taste even better. I often find myself eating too much of Onii-chan’s cooking, too. It’s the deliciousness’s fault.

And so, while munching on delicious bread and excitedly planning our day, our morning began.
There’s been a lot of talk about bakeries lately. And I’m always surprised to see the lines when I go first thing in the morning. Do people really want fresh-baked bread that badly!? I think to myself, even as I stand in line with them.
