第761堀:中間報告 (Part2)
"Well, for today and tomorrow, as Seraria suggested, we’ve arranged for each nation to consolidate their information. After that, we’ll all sit down for a face-to-face conference, but that will focus on how to proceed with future trade. Since it won't be an explanatory session like before, I think the burden on our side will be lighter."
Probably.
For the past four days, our Weed has been presenting to the participating nations of the intercontinental exchange, covering the characteristics of each continent, introductions to major nations, and explanations of their specialties.
Naturally, that included an explanation of Weed itself.
During those sessions, I exposed the story of how I was brought here from another world—well, by now, the kings of each nation already knew, but I restated it to seek protection for Earthlings in the future.
I warned them that if they weren't careful, they could end up at war with Earth. I explained the dangers of summoning magic.
I had debated whether to keep this quiet, but I ultimately decided that declaring it would serve as a deterrent.
Besides, thanks to Luna, the only ones who can currently be summoned are those already within this world of Aulito. So, if anyone were to be summoned, it would be Taiki, Taizo-san, Sota-san, or myself.
Ah, and there’s a high possibility that the heroes led by Tanaka of Rumel could be summoned as well.
I haven't traveled to every corner of this world yet, so there’s a chance other Earthlings exist, but based on our track record, we’ve concluded that if a summoning occurs within Aulito, it will be one of these members.
After all, I am the living proof.
Because of this, Weed’s position has shifted from being recognized as just a small nation on the Rogari continent to being recognized as a nation of Earth.
So, we spent the first day explaining Rogari, the host continent; the second day on the If continent; the third on the New Continent; and the fourth on the specialties of Weed—or rather, Earth. Thanks to that, everyone has been incredibly busy.
We’ve been firmly recognized as a nation of super-technology.
It feels like the number of people looking to pick a fight with us will decrease even further now.
That said, I did emphasize that our connection to Earth is only possible thanks to Luna’s Dungeon Master abilities, so they shouldn't rely on that indefinitely.
"So, once these two days are over, we’ll be deciding on the exchange schedules and visit dates. It seems like Weed is going to be flooded with requests."
"I’ve already decided that if requests flood in, we’ll settle it by drawing lots, so that won't be a problem. Honestly, I think it would be smarter for them to decide on exchange schedules with other countries before rushing to Weed."
Eventually, we’ll interact with every country and discuss trade anyway.
Just because they choose Weed first doesn't mean they’ll get better goods.
For our part, I’ve walked these lands myself and grasped the internal situation of each country, and since I have the ability to generate supplies using DP, I can provide whatever they desire.
The timing of the exchange doesn't really matter.
"They should know that. But, you know?"
As Seraria said this, she glanced at Eris and Ratz, and both of them nodded...
"Even understanding that, they will still want to build a connection with Weed first. That’s how exceptional Weed is."
"That’s right. It’s not just a country with rare items. It’s a treasure trove of ideas and knowledge we’ve never even imagined. It would be foolish to see and know all this and just leave it be."
Well, I can understand that sentiment, but as someone who prioritizes efficiency, I don't see the point.
The other countries don't have much they can offer Weed, and it would actually be better to divert those resources to trade with other nations.
We want to collect the currencies of each continent that have been depleted this time around, so for now, we’re more interested in money than local specialties.
It’s a mercenary way of looking at it, but in this world, money is king.
"Anyway, that’s enough of the status report. For the next two days, let’s take it easy and recharge. The other nations are racking their brains over how to distribute limited resources and what to acquire, but we don't have those worries. Everyone, let’s have some fun!"
" " "Yeah!" " "
And so, a brief respite began.
Yes. So, while the various nations are consolidating their information and planning their strategies, we are taking a short break.
Now, what kind of ideas are the other nations moving with?
Actually, when you have a rare day off, you just want to lounge around at home, right?
And as for a personal report, it seems there were many prophets, so it wasn't much of a surprise.
Today is my wedding day.
Whose? Mine, the snowman's, and my bride's.
I’m surprised myself, but I managed to get married.
Well, since this is a scheduled post, there might be a miracle where we break up on the day of the wedding, so you’ll have to wait for the post on the 30th.
I’ve written about the wedding on my blog (http://snowbookman.diary.to/), but that’s also a pre-scheduled post, so seriously, wait for the 30th.
Oh, and my bride is someone who is totally fine with my otaku hobbies and my writing novels, so there won't be any issues with my future posts.
Actually, looking for a place to live and meeting with the wedding venue staff was the most exhausting part so far.
I’m surprised at myself for not changing my posting pace despite all that.
I suppose this novel has become a part of my daily routine in a way.
