"Your Majesty. This is Show. I have something to report immediately."

"There is no mistake. Yuki-sama of Weed requested that we verify the footage captured by their reconnaissance team."
"Then there is no room for error. And what was Weed’s response?"
"Yes. They met them at the mouth of the bay with an aircraft carrier and did not allow them to enter the port."

What does this mean? I don't think Show would misspeak.

...It’s rare for Show to be this bewildered. Even if it weren't about Weed, this is the Hein Empire we're talking about. Still, I can't say anything until I understand the details.
"Show. I understand you're confused, but that makes it even harder for me to grasp the situation. Explain it from the beginning. I heard the absurd claim that they tried to occupy Aurelia with only five converted merchant ships—is that true?"
"Y-yes. That is the truth. No, wait—it seems they didn't intend to occupy it, but rather to have it ceded to them."

I don't understand. Cede Aurelia Port?
"What are you talking about? I don't get it. Why cede it? They came to occupy it, didn't they? ...With those five merchant ships?"
Ah, I see now why Show is so perplexed. With only five converted merchant ships, they could transport at most a thousand soldiers. That’s not enough to occupy Aurelia Port. "Exactly. That makes the pieces fit. The marriage to Princess Palfil would also serve as a sufficient justification for the Hein Empire to help Gusdo in the future."
So they asked for the cession to avoid the hassle of port entry procedures. And they demanded Princess Palfil as a bride to serve as their justification for protecting Gusdo.

It would be strange if she *weren't* angry.
"And so, they demanded that Yuki-sama and Weed, who were present at the discussion, choose between being branded as rebels of a country they didn't even know, or handing over the *Kuubo* and being let go."
