落とし穴番外：海での楽しみ方 (Part2)
"Oh my, it seems the night will be quite enjoyable. Well, for now, I’m going to get some rest."
With that, Seraria seemed satisfied, placing a towel over her eyes and drifting off to sleep. I suppose that’s only natural after she’d been so active.
"Now then, come to think of it, Aslin and the others aren't around."
"If you mean Lady Aslin and her group, they have headed toward the isolated island offshore."
"Did you hide some treasure there, Yuki?"
"Ah, now that you mention it, I did do something like that."
I had hidden it during the summer, thinking it would be fun if someone went looking for it. After all, the idea of an "adventure on a deserted island" is enough to stir any child's heart, isn't it?
"For the time being, I think I'll go check on them."
As I stood up, I heard a voice behind me.
"Brother. Please take us with you."
I turned to see Arge and Stasia, both wearing matching blue bikinis.
"I don't mind, but Stasia, weren't you playing beach volleyball with Seraria just a moment ago? Are you sure you're up for this?"
"Yes. It was certainly a form of exercise I wasn't accustomed to, but this level of activity is no problem at all."
Perhaps she had grown used to it while playing, as Stasia no longer showed any signs of being embarrassed by her swimwear.
"Ahaha, I apologize for the trouble earlier."
"No, it's better that you've gotten used to it. Swimwear isn't anything particularly shameful, is it?"
"Indeed. There is no issue with diving straight into the water as we are. It is quite rational if one considers it clothing for swimming. Above all, everyone else is dressed the same way. Well, Eris-san’s attire is even more... adventurous."
At that remark, our eyes naturally drifted toward Eris, who was swimming with Milly and Kaya.
"Ah, don't mind her."
Whenever Eris comes to a private beach, she never wears standard swimwear; she always goes for something on the more provocative side. Last time it was a V-string, and this time it’s a micro-bikini. I can only wonder what she’ll wear next.
Actually, those three are supposed to be catching snacks for our drinks, but for some reason, they never seem to be in sync. It’s all very mysterious.
"Still, it would be rude not to call out to them... Hey! We're heading to the island to follow Aslin and the others. What are you three going to do?"
"We'll pass. We're about to start drinking!"
"Yes. It’s not often we get the chance to drink from the middle of the day, after all."
"……Souvenirs: sea urchin and turban shells."
"Understood. I'll bring some back if we find any."
"We'll bring back plenty!"
"Now, Arge, don't go making promises like that on your own. Well then everyone, we're off."
With that, and having been tasked with bringing back more snacks, we headed toward the isolated island. While it wouldn't be impossible to fly there, it would defeat the purpose of coming to the sea to play, so we decided to use a cruiser. Rowing a boat through the currents would be a nightmare, and time is limited. It felt like a proper "rich person's day at the beach."
*Vroom...*
The cruiser’s engine roared to life, and we sped across the surface of the sea as if we were flying.
"Waaaah! Amazing! It’s amazing, Brother! To think we could race across the sea this quickly!"
"Arge, don't stand up. I told you it was dangerous, didn't I? My apologies, Yuki-sama."
"No, it’s fine; I’m just glad you’re enjoying it. Oh, there are drinks in the fridge over there, feel free to help yourselves. We’ll be landing soon to look for Aslin and the others. Also, make sure to take some hoodies with you. We’ll be heading into the forest, so I want to make sure you don't get hurt."
"Yes. We will prepare."
"Yay! I'm so excited, Sister!"
And so, we arrived at the island where Aslin and the others were treasure hunting. It seemed they had arrived by cruiser as well, as one ship was already anchored there.
"Hey! Aslin! Filia! Shera! Labyris..."
"It seems they have all gone into the island, as expected."
I checked the cruiser, but it was empty.
"Well, Dressa, Vilia, and Hiiro are with them, so we should be able to find them soon if we look around."
There were quite a few members in this island exploration party, and the island itself wasn't that large, so we were bound to find them quickly. With that thought, we stepped onto the island to begin our search.
When you go to the beach, what do you like to do for fun? Swimming is a given, but how about beach volleyball? Watermelon smashing? Or maybe fishing? Going to a deserted island... that’s a pretty high difficulty level, isn't it?
