Ah, it seems a fool is a fool to the end. Without a second thought, he drew his sword with a sharp metallic ring.
Well, this makes it all the easier to "deal" with him properly. Since the entire exchange is being recorded, I might as well get it over with.
"Drawing a blade against the person you are assigned to protect. You are no longer a guard. And above all else, this is now an international incident."
"Shut your mouth! You’re nothing but a brat from a piddling Baron’s house! Don’t get cocky just because you married into a minor nation!"
He shrieked as he lunged with his sword. Honestly, to think that someone of this caliber is a captain of a knight order... I couldn't help but think that he was such utter trash that even comparing him to Seraria or Jessica felt like an insult to them. I simply pinched the tip of his blade between my fingers, bringing his strike to a dead halt.
"Wh-what!?"
I had merely used the disparity in our levels to stop him, but to this man, it must have been an absolute humiliation.
"Haa... you really shouldn't look down on Weed with such pathetic skill. Especially when you’re being handled so easily by a 'brat' like me. And let me be clear: the moment we arrive in Baide, you will be arrested for high treason."

I stated this, then pressed my fist lightly against the abdomen of his armor, channeling my focus into a sharp burst of energy. I unleashed the "Penetrating Fa-jin" technique, a direct inheritance from Deryu, knocking him unconscious instantly. After all, there would be no point if I accidentally punched him so hard that I damaged the interior of the vehicle.

As Mikos-chan said this with a smile, the other fools who had been reaching for their swords sat down quietly.

*Sigh... Honestly, what on earth were they thinking?*

And just like that, it was decided that an entire knight order would be sent back before we even reached the Goblin Village. I wonder if any of the original guards will actually remain by the end of this? It’s genuinely worrying.
Well, the main guide is riding with Kagura, a young lady of the Kamishiro house—one of the three great families—so I’d like to believe that at least she is safe. But in the worst-case scenario, is there a possibility we’ll have to head to the Goblin Village without any guidance from Haiden?
At the very least, I suppose I should be grateful that the sky is clear and bright. You find this type of person everywhere. They live as if the world revolves entirely around their own convenience.
