落とし穴外伝:女性のお風呂上がりは大変です (Part2)
It might seem a bit childish, but that hairstyle possesses a charm that is quintessentially Cleena.
While I was occupied with such thoughts, the others began to emerge from the baths one after another.
"Oh? What’s the matter?"
"Seraria-sama. We were just discussing what to do with our hair."
"Ah. I won’t be styling mine particularly today. Being here, we must be mindful of the eyes of the common folk, lest we cause a stir. If you all don’t have a preference, why not try a style different from your usual? It’s surprisingly effective at masking one’s identity. Especially for you, Eris and Ratz."
"That’s true. I’d hate to be approached for work talk while I’m here. I think I’ll go with a ponytail."
"Agreed. I shall follow suit. I rarely tie my hair back, so that alone should be enough to change the impression I give."
With that, the two of them quickly swept their hair into ponytails.
Yes, the change in their appearance was truly striking.
"Hmm. Shou, shall we be matching and go with twin-tails?"
"Yay! I’ll help you, Shou-oneechan!"
"I leave it to you."
"I’m sure it will look adorable."
"Since I’m not wearing twin-tails myself, I simply must have someone else do it."
"I don’t quite follow the logic, but Seraria-sama’s point is sound, so I shall change my hairstyle. Would you mind assisting me?"
"Indeed. Leave it to me."
Yupi-sama and Shou-sama, the ones who proposed this "Let’s enjoy the Super Public Bath" outing, seem to be having a wonderful time with Aslin and the others.
Ugh, feeling hesitant and moping around here feels foolish now.
"Right. I’ll take Kagura’s advice and leave it as it is today."
"I think that’s a good idea."
"Oh, Enola, Stasia."
Before I knew it, Enola and Stasia were standing beside me, offering their support.
"My hair isn’t even long enough to change the style, anyway."
"Is that so? Even just adjusting a small section can make quite a difference, you know?"
Surprisingly, Stasia—her golden hair cascading down to her waist in a dazzling display—countered Enola’s murmur.
Stasia usually keeps her hair bundled in a bun, so it’s a rare treat to see it flowing freely like this in such a setting.
My, it’s truly beautiful.
Honestly, I can’t see the scar on her brow as a flaw, just as Yuki-sensei said.
"I don’t mind, but Stasia, instead of just letting it flow, why not try twin-tails like Mikos?"
"Um, I don’t think I possess the same cuteness as Mikos..."
"I think it would look good. It seems there are a lot of twin-tails today. Kagura, why don’t you try twin-tails too?"
"Huh? Well... I suppose it’s unfair to critique others' hair if I don’t change my own. Fine. Let’s go with twin-tails today."
And so, one thing led to another, and we all ended up changing our hairstyles—it’s been incredibly fun.
In the end, we split into three main factions: the twin-tail camp, the ponytail camp, and the flowing-hair camp.
Looking at Yuki-sensei’s wives and Mikos-chan’s best friends, I’m struck once again by the sheer concentration of stunning beauties, pretty girls, and adorable young maidens.
They are all talent capable of gracing the cover of any magazine.
Perhaps, if I ever decide to start such a magazine, I’ll have to ask for everyone’s cooperation.
Later, when we reunited with Yuki-sensei and the others, they were visibly surprised by the change in our appearances.
Yes! That alone made the effort of styling our hair worth it.
To have Yuki-sensei himself call us "cute" and "beautiful" again—it’s the absolute best!
"Now then, all that remains is dinner."
"I’m looking forward to it. Yuki-sama mentioned something about a new dish."
Judging by the conversation between Yupi-sama and Shou-sama, when it comes to food for a chilly day... it has to be *that*, right?
And so, Mikos-chan had mostly figured out what was on the menu.
Bathing is quite the ordeal for women, isn't it?
Between the makeup and the hair care...
My, I’m glad I was born a man.
