第1293堀:視点の違いは大事 (Part2)

That's a place needed for recreation.

It's always better to have places to play to deepen relationships with people.

For exercise, there's the gymnasium or the grounds.

For casual conversation or table games, I envision the school cafeteria or classrooms.

"There were classes related to play, but you'll be teaching those thoroughly too, right?"

"Ah. For exercise, we have dodgeball and soccer, and for table games, there are cards and Othello."

We have a full range of facilities, after all.

I'm thinking of holding exchange tournaments for such games.

It would be interesting if professional players emerged from these games someday.

"Then the children won't get bored. Also, regarding the library..."

And so, Agil continued to point out things as they came to mind, and I checked each one. For anything I couldn't answer on the spot, we decided to confirm it later.

"Lord Yuki. Do you have time?"

Fiora's voice called out to me, and when I checked my watch, it was already close to evening.

"We've been talking for longer than I thought."

"That means there were quite a few points to note about the school building. The confirmations and corrections that need to be done on-site will have to wait until tomorrow."

"Indeed."

As Agil said, if we started now, it would be night.

I've sworn to myself that I won't do overtime.

Since there's still some paperwork to do, I decided it was time to leave. As I stood up, I glanced at the monitor displaying the Great Forest.

"Ah, Comet and the others seem to be doing fine."

Comet and the others, who were heading towards the center of the Great Forest, had already gone beyond their planned exploration range for the day.

In other words, things were going smoothly.

"Speaking of which, there haven't been any reports of encounters with monsters, have there?"

"No. Whether that's good or bad luck, I don't know. Anyway, I'm on the night shift tonight, so you don't need to worry about it."

"Then it was okay for you to be talking with me?"

Normally, you'd need to get some rest during a night shift, wouldn't you?

"It's fine. It's a relaxing time with my husband. Besides, even if it's the night shift, if there are no problems, I can take a nap over there."

Agil pointed to the simple bunk beds at the edge of the monitoring room.

There, goblins, who seemed to be on the night shift, were sleeping soundly.

They really aren't like typical goblins.

Well, I'm the one who trained them to act that way, though.

"Well, don't overdo it."

"I know."

And so, we left the academy and returned to the office.

There was nothing that required immediate attention, but there was still paperwork to be done.

"This isn't something that 'disappears before you know it,' is it?"

"If paperwork were to disappear without notice, that would be a major problem."

Fiora responded seriously to my joke.

Well, she is like a secretary, so that response is correct.

I thought about how to reply and decided to be honest.

"It's just a joke to escape reality."

"Ah, I see. Then please work hard to return to reality."

With that, Fiora handed me the documents that required my approval.

Four at once? That's a bit much.

In other words, she's telling me to stop complaining and get to work.

I resigned myself to it, accepted them, and began to review the contents.

Three of them were fine.

"...Ah, this was also a topic."

"What is it?"

I fluttered the document...

"It's about the practical deployment of ghosts in the international student dormitory."

" " "Huh?" " "

Right, it was planned as part of the security measures.

The night shift arrangement for Noriko's colleagues.

The idea was that there would inevitably be troublemakers sneaking into the school at night.

This document came from Tori and the others, so I'll hear about it tomorrow.

The plan is for the day after tomorrow, for now.

I stamped it and put it in the approved box.

I hadn't asked what kind of ghosts would be used or how they would be used.

It's surprisingly something to look forward to.

Do you remember the feelings you had as a child, or when you were younger than you are now, when you were little?

When I was a child, I was always terrified of the Japanese doll at my grandfather's house in the toilet at night.

Why does that kind of feeling dull as you get older?
