The man waved his hand—gusts of wind roared to life, tearing the monster apart, shredding it into pieces! If he summoned fire, it would take the form of a massive dragon, burning the creature to ashes!
The ground shudders—rocks burst from underground, a stone dragon emerging, its powerful jaws crunching the monster one after another... Wait, what? A silver-gleaming ice dragon appears, freezing the monster solid, then shattering it to pieces!
"Composite Magic — Fragmentation Bomb —!"
Explosions rip through every direction. Monsters are blown apart like they’re being hit by an air raid! Normal explosives shouldn’t be able to do this—this kind of destruction shouldn’t be possible!

Hasegawa snapped at the idiotic report, voice rising. He flung open the window and stared at the sky above the battlefield. In that instant—

A blinding flash of lightning tore across the entire cloud cover, followed by a thunderous roar like the earth itself cracking open.
From deep within the thick clouds, a golden thread descended—something shining gold stretching down toward the ground.
“What… the hell is that!?”

Under the watchful eyes of countless Self-Defense Force personnel, the golden light reaches the ground and reveals its full form.
It’s a water dragon wrapped in lightning—long, slender, just like in Chinese legends. Up close, its sheer size is overwhelming.
The dragon slithers across the ground at terrifying speed, swallowing monsters whole. Just touching it sends a monster flying apart—never to rise again.
While the Self-Defense Force troops just stood there, stunned, “Golden Dragon” continued shredding monsters without mercy.
