I headed toward Joshua and the others. Kneeling in front of El, who was being held by Michelle, I checked his condition. Critical wounds… if we don’t act now, he’ll die.
“…You saved me again… I don’t think my brother can be saved this time…”
I gripped my brother’s hand, glancing sideways at Michelle, her face etched with sorrow. His internal organs were severely damaged.
“Perfect Heal!”
El’s body was enveloped in light. Michelle and Joshua stared, stunned. Color returned to his pale face, and every wound on his body began to close.
Michelle just stood there, speechless, clutching her brother—now without a single scar.
“What the hell is this?! How did his wounds heal like that!?”
Joshua shouted, confused. The soldiers around us looked utterly bewildered. Since “Day of Woe,” people with special abilities—magic, superpowers—had been slowly emerging around the world, but seeing it firsthand… this was the first time for all of us.

“Why… why is my body… like this!?”
El looked around at himself, still disoriented by the sudden healing, then tilted his head up at Michelle with a puzzled expression.
“Gojou helped you! He healed your body too!!”
El turned around—and there stood the giant he’d personally driven away. The very one who’d just now controlled the giant to save them all.
El opened his mouth, bewildered.
"Wh-why did you save me? I... I... you were the one I... "
El’s words trailed off... couldn’t find the next ones.
"Hey, no need for reasons to help someone. If someone’s in trouble, you help. That’s all. No big deal. Don’t sweat it..."

Joshua butted in from the side.
"H-hey! I was the one who kicked you out! I’m sorry for that! There are still tons of Titans around here—stay with us! We need your power! Please!!"
"I can’t."
Joshua’s face crumpled, hope gone.
"Don’t get it wrong—I’m not abandoning you. I’m gonna hunt every Titan in this area. Once that’s done, we’ll take down the Titan! But I can’t stay with you right now."
"The Titan?"
He gave me that look—like I was insane. But I wasn’t. Not even a little. No more doubts. To beat the Titan, I’ve gotta get stronger! And to do that...
I healed the wounded, one by one, then escorted them to the nearest shelter. I said no to Joshua’s plea to stay. Just hovered into the air right in front of him, then shot off into the sky. Everyone left behind stared, mouths wide open, utterly stunned—but I didn’t care. No time for that. From here on out? Leveling! Pure, relentless leveling!!
I pulled out my职业 board from the sub-space.
"Only one SSR job board’s available right now... Guess I’ve gotta bet my fate on this one!"

The reason I finally got access to the alchemist’s job board was probably because the sage and the blacksmith hit a wall...
I’d buried over a hundred giants after that, but the SSR alchemist just wouldn’t level up. Guess leveling higher-tier classes really does take forever…
The alchemist’s职业 skill, as expected, was “Alchemy.”

Status gains are up by around 700 total—except for MP. Highest I’ve ever seen in a job so far. Skills I can get? “Blessing” or... yeah, definitely not a combat class. Makes perfect sense now...
I decided to immediately try out my newly upgraded "Alchemy" skill.
"First, this... um..."
I was standing in front of a jagged, otherworldly landscape—same kind of alien terrain that existed in Japan too. Was it called “spirit ore” there…? Yeah, that’s right. From here, they extracted metal and refined it into what they called “spirit steel”—Mithril, right? That’s what they called it.
Alchemy’s a skill that changes matter—but you can’t turn anything into anything.
You can only transform specific materials into something similar. Like turning “demon ore” into “demon steel,” for example.
“Earth Magic—Rock Manipulation!”
The dark blue earth trembles, groaning as I mentally shape it—round, as big as possible, bit by bit.
A sphere of dark blue stone, about ten meters across, forms—bigger than the giant-sized rocks I’ve used before, by roughly twice the size. I raise my hand toward it.
“Alchemy!!”
A massive magic circle erupts beneath the stone. Light pours out from the circle, wrapping around the rock… When the light fades, a dull, silvery stone appears. I immediately check it…

Success…! Even if it’s low-grade, making actual Mithril is huge!
I tried a few more things after that—some worked, some didn’t. So there’s definitely a success rate… Still only D-rank, so it shouldn’t be high, but with my luck, I’m hitting a surprisingly good rate for a D-rank.
It takes a serious chunk of mana each time—but I’ve got “Infinite Mana,” so that’s not a problem.
This has to be the strongest weapon to beat the Titan… Wait there, Titan—I’m coming for you now!!
