Beam from the eleventh eye! No, not doing that.

Beam from the eleventh eye! No, not doing that.

Still no scales?

[Then I'll take over.]

Declined.

Scaling removal will still take time.

Use skill points in the meantime to acquire a new cursed eye.

Levelled up to four. Points increased to two hundred. Now able to obtain higher-tier cursed eyes.

Cursed eyes available at two hundred points:

『Cursed Eye of Thunder (200): Inflicts thunder-elemental damage to all within field of view』

『Cursed Eye of Wind (200): Inflicts wind-elemental damage to all within field of view』

『Cursed Eye of Earth (200): Inflicts earth-elemental damage to all within field of view』

『Cursed Eye of Weight (200): Inflicts weight-elemental damage to all within field of view』

『Cursed Eye of Shadow (200): Inflicts shadow-elemental damage to all within field of view』

『Cursed Eye of Soul Destruction (200): Applies effect of heretical attribute "Soul Destruction" to all within field of view』

『Cursed Eye of Self-Nullification (200): Applies effect of heretical attribute "Self-Nullification" to all within field of view』

This is how it stands.

Where the Eye of Heresy at 100 points was a status affliction, this one is attribute-based.

Heretic Eyes with attributes like fire—ones incompatible with me—will have higher point costs.

The two Heretic Attributes are overpowered, but I’ll likely learn them through Heretic Magic anyway, so I’ll pass on them this time.

That leaves the attribute-based Eyes. I’m honestly undecided on which one to choose.

Darkness is probably the most compatible, but I’d rather avoid attribute overlap.

I’ve developed a decent range of offensive options now, but in the early stages I only had thread and poison. If those were countered, I had no chance.

Even if I can’t imagine someone countering every one of my current attacks, having a broad range of offensive methods is still preferable.

Therefore, Darkness is out.

The remaining options are Wind, Thunder, Earth, and Gravity.

But what exactly is the Eye of Earth?

What would it feel like?

Can't really imagine it.

Part of me wants to see it, but Earth feels useless against opponents that fly through the air.

Probably not true, but it's a risk worth considering.

I'll skip Earth.

Three options left.

Hesitating.

Wind—probably releases shockwaves into targets within visual range.

If so, wouldn't that also work as defense?

For example, intercepting a fireball and neutralizing it.

If it affects anything in view, it should be feasible.

Thunder is purely offensive.

Power level likely highest among the remaining three.

What's uncertain is whether Thunder comes with side effects like paralysis.

If it does, pairing it with Paralysis Eye could increase paralysis rate.

But that seems unlikely.

Gravity—assuming that's what it means.

Other attributes seem to be single-hit types, but this one appears sustained.

Likely increases gravitational force applied to the target.

Each has strengths. Hard to choose.

Hmm.

Alright, decided!

[Current Skill Points: 200.

Skill 'Gravity's Heresy Eye LV1' can be acquired using 200 Skill Points.

Acquire?]

Yes.

['Gravity's Heresy Eye LV1' acquired. Remaining Skill Points: 0]

After deliberation, I chose Gravity's Heresy Eye.

I believed it would hinder the opponent's movement.

Use Gravity's Heresy Eye to slow motion, Curse's Heresy Eye to weaken, then Paralysis's Heresy Eye to fully immobilize.

Triple Heresy Eye Kill—complete.

Thus, the Heresy Eye configuration focuses on halting the opponent's movement.

Other attack methods are also sufficiently available.

If push comes to shove, I can just spend a hundred points on some random magic skill.

Hmm?

Actually, wouldn't that have been better?

I was obsessed with the Heresy Eye, but I’m supposed to be a magic-specialized type by stats, right?

Should’ve taken a magic skill instead.

No, that’s not how it is.

I’ll just settle on that.

Absolutely no way I went off the rails chasing the dream of deploying eight Heresy Eyes at once.

Not that I did.

Anyway, for now, I’ll probably conserve points.

I don’t know how many points I’ll get from the evolution bonus.

I’ll adjust my approach based on that amount.

If it’s high, I might consider skills that require a lot of points—like Laziness—just to see what’s possible.

Now then.

The reason I took the Heavy Heresy Eye wasn’t only for combat advantage.

For testing purposes, activate the Heresy Eye!

[Grgh. What are you doing, Information Specialist!]

What? I'm applying gravity to myself.

[It's heavy!]

I thought—what I lack is something. That is muscle!

[He's starting to lecture again.]

The Z Warriors trained under multiple times Earth's gravity, and achieved strength to overcome their approaching enemies!

[Ah. I get what you're saying, but you're getting in the way of scaling the scales.]

It's pointless without practice under normal conditions.

{Yeah, go for it, Body Specialist!}

<Goal: Overcome 1,000x Gravity!>

[This will kill me!]

Therefore, I decided to apply gravity to myself permanently.

Yes.

The Heresy Eye works as expected.

It increases the gravity of anything within sight.

If I maintain this state continuously, my proficiency with the eye will rise, and my physical stats will improve without question.

If I could raise a skill like Strength, that would be ideal.

Currently level one, so it's only slightly heavy— but as the level increases, the burden will become significant.

At that point, during combat, releasing gravity will unlock the limiter.

Nice.

I'd like to shout "Constraint Release!" then, if possible.

Voice won't come out, though.
