Koihama Momoka
A "Beast Tamer" who gained pointed ears from the "Elf's Medicine."
Her true identity is a reincarnated being who experienced "the End" once before and is now restarting her life from the beginning.
With near-maximum combat power, she efficiently levels up by utilizing memories from her previous life.
Incidentally, her gender in her previous life was male. In this life, she's said to be equally appealing whether male or female.
Okita Rinne
Only daughter of a bicycle shop located beneath elevated tracks near Ikebukuro.
Once the class idol, she developed a somewhat hardened personality after enduring the grim aftermath of the "End."
She is also a rare individual who knows the protagonist from before the "End."
Aoyama Ryōji
An eleven-year-old boy who is particularly close to Rinne.
It seems that, beginning with him, the members beneath the elevated railway continue to follow Rinne even after joining the Gakugaku High School community.
"Living by doing what you love," it seems he has an uncle.
Soga Taketo
The new chemistry teacher. Calm and intelligent.
Once had a romantic relationship with Rinne.
Currently missing in action.
Inugami Renji
The one who inherits the hero's power. A young man who favors losing battles.
Kouon said it seemed like a born-and-bred unfortunate disposition.
Secretly thinks of himself as the protagonist of a light novel, but hasn't yet met any girls who would fit the harem trope.
Also, the parents are in France.
Amata Mitsu ne
A woman who once active as a "Hero."
After battling Hana, she suffered from magical exhaustion and died. Afterwards, she activated her "Undying" skill, becoming a spirit-like existence that supports Renji.
Her purpose appears to be accumulating good deeds by using Renji's power, so she can revive once more.
Takaya Kōichi
Renji's close friend. A Pokémon trainer who worships role-based logic.
"Heh, Pokémon without a role are just garbage, you know?!" — that's always his thought.
Kida Tadayoshi
Leader of the community at Akasaka-mitsuke Station. According to Renji, "Barcode Bald."
He firmly believes rescue is coming any day now, and due to repeatedly postponing addressing the root of the problem, he has become completely immobilized.
Dark Knight
A man who repeatedly appears before Sutae Kouon, rescuing her like the Tuxedo Mask. His true identity remains a mystery.
According to Haku, one of those who wish this situation would never end.
Oota Hajime
An elderly former homeless man.
He was nearly eaten by the people at Akasaka-Mitsuke Station when he was rescued by Renji.
Now he lives safely at Yagakyo High School, protected by Hayato and Asuka.
Hideo
A teenager who was part of the community at Akasaka-Mitsuke Station. Among the three, he is the de facto leader.
Can't write kanji, so unsure how to write it.
Moves lightly and efficiently, with strong survival skills—supposedly capable of gathering supplies on their own without being told.
Akane
A girl from the Akasaka-Mitsuke Station community. The sole red-haired one among the three.
Hideo is interested in her.
Akira
A boy from the Akasaka-Mitsuke Station community. The smartest of the three. Can write kanji.
Adachi Asuki
A player killed by Renkai Hana.
Claimed to have received their power from a god, and apparently treated ordinary people like slaves.
Mai Mizushiro
A girl who traveled alongside a player known as the "Gambler," named Asahi.
She challenged Renkai Hana to avenge Asahi, but was defeated in turn.
