092 Lord's File 4: Suppression of Rebellion 2
"Dimensional Jump target: Factory satellite in orbit around the fourth planet of the Tatara system. Reverse side of the Dimensional Jump Gate. Estimated jump time: one minute."
"Good. We're jumping at 11:59!"
According to stealth reconnaissance drone intel, the main force of Lord Douglas wasn't at Fam 5.
The main force of 4,000 was stationed at Tatara 4, on alert in front of the Dimensional Jump Gate.
Weizen 4 was also waiting with about 1,000 ships in front of the Dimensional Jump Gate.
Probably they don't know our force is in the tens of thousands.
We'll hit them all at once—52,000 ships total—with a full assault from the factory mothership's Dimensional Jump.
And the planetary assault fleet of the Anoi Fortress Three Command—Planet Weizen Four—is launching its attack at the same moment.
"Dimensional Jump in ten seconds. Five... four... three... two... one... initiating Dimensional Jump."
A dizziness-like nausea from the Dimensional Jump—what we call "warp sickness"—lasts about a minute.
Unlike the Dimensional Jump Gate, this Dimensional Jump via the warp drive is a forced leap across the dimensional spacetime surface, skipping the subspace entirely.
Without the Dimensional Defense Field generated by the warp drive, you'd fall between dimensions and never make it back.
It's a massive device—impossible to install without a capital-class vessel—and thus a rare sight.
Which is exactly why it catches the enemy off guard. Just like that defeated Prince.
The factory mothership executes its Dimensional Jump out.
Behind us: Tataras 4. Ahead: factory satellite. Far beyond that: the Dimensional Jump Gate. The enemy fleet, facing us head-on.
The enemy ship that happened to be at the destination of the Dimensional Jump… vanishes into the rift in space.
『Dimensional Jump (Warp) complete.』
『All ships, launch! Annihilate the enemy fleet!』
Hearing the factory mothership’s announcement of Dimensional Jump (Warp) exit, I ordered full fleet deployment.
The 42,000 ships launched simultaneously, swarming the enemy fleet.
The remaining 10,000 headed toward securing the factory satellite.
『Lord Douglas, any intention to surrender?』
I broadcast the surrender ultimatum across all channels.
No reply.
『(Fine. Then annihilate them!)』
Then— a massive vessel veers toward the Dimensional Jump Gate.
I activate the Long Barrel 5cm Railgun, three turrets, and lock on.
Ignore the enemy ship that's stepped in front—fire the G-bullets straight through.
No rebellion allowed. If showing my resolve means fewer lives lost later, then fine—I pulled the trigger. (Metaphorically.)
G-bullets, rapid-fire, shredding the enemy ship that blocked the path.
Then, finally, the enemy flagship commanded by Lord Douglas appears.
Direct hit. Direct hit. Direct hit!
The enemy flagship disintegrates into stardust—debris.
At that moment, President Kamizawa aims her 40cm Railgun at a single point in space, directly above the battlefield, vertically aligned with the combat zone.
This is a weapon upgrade, specifically installed for this purge mission.
The shielding field vanishes—destroyed, the enemy recovery vessel is exposed.
President Kamizawa eliminated it—no room for second thoughts. She wouldn’t let Lord Douglas escape via teleportation.
The enemy manned ships, thrown into panic by the destruction of their recovery vessel, began shouting surrender.
They knew for sure they’d die if they got sunk here.
I fired Erosion Bullets into each one, rendering them powerless.
The rebellion of Lord Douglas seemed to have ended… or so it appeared.
『High-energy reaction detected at the factory satellite!』
“Shit! Fortress Cannon!”
My fight wasn’t over after all.

12:00 (one two zero zero) Weyzen IV Assault Fleet
Through the Dimensional Jump Gate, the Weyzen IV Assault Fleet—divided into three armies of the Anoi Fortress—pours in.
Ahead lies Planet Weyzen IV. Guarding it, a defensive fleet of nine hundred.
Only one-fifth the strength of the assault fleet’s forty-five hundred.
『Ravage them!』
The rat commander barks.
『Show them our valor!』
The dog commander echoes.
『First to strike wins! Harvest it all!』
The cat commander goads.
All four thousand five hundred ships roar in unison, targeting their prey.
The sheer momentum makes the former governor’s mirror flinch.
『We surrender! Please stop…』
By the time the attack halts, the railguns and beams already loosed have struck the mirror’s fleet.
You can’t un-fire a railgun or beam.
The mirror fleet of nine hundred becomes debris.
『Deploy ground forces. We take it.』
The capital governor’s residence on Planet Weyzen IV is seized.
The populace is friendly. The Anoi Fortress 3rd Division conducts no looting or violence.
Only the former governor is at fault. The people bear no guilt.

Tatara 4 Factory Satellite
The Fortress Cannon was charging up its energy.
But since it hadn’t fully charged yet, we were dodging and attacking the factory satellite at the same time.
“Ah… such a waste. Can’t we take it over without destroying the factory…?”
Just as I was pondering, a message came through from my Personal Ship’s neural interface.
‘Shall I fire the Leap Bullet?’
I remembered. My Personal Ship had leveled up, and I’d just gained a small amount of 40cm Railgun Leap Bullets.
The enemy Fortress Cannon couldn’t be broken from the outside—no matter how hard you tried.
But from the inside? That might just work.
I made up my mind. I’d fire the 40cm Leap Bullet.
"Forty-centimeter Railgun, Leap Bullet launch sequence initiated!"
"Understood. Enemy weak point search. Where shall we target?"
The enemy Fortress Cannon's weak points flash onto the screen in threat-ranking order.
But we can't hit a spot that'd cause chain reactions and blow the whole thing to bits.
The factory satellite's too valuable to waste.
Got it! This is the very weak point I was made for.
"Target: Energy transfer tube reverse-flow circuit. Fire!"
The violet electromagnetic energy coiling around the forty-centimeter Long Barrel Railgun's guide rails is sucked into the Leap Bullet's casing.
In an instant, the projectile vanishes, wreathed in violet light—then the factory satellite shudders.
The glow of the Fortress Cannon, moments from firing, flickers and rapidly dims as its energy pressure collapses.
Energy flares around the factory satellite.
The reactor’s safety circuit kicked in—excess energy dumped, cleanly.
Fortress Cannon’s not firing now.
I deliver the final blow.
“Target: Factory Satellite Command Center. Launch forty-centimeter Railgun Leap Bullet!”
Inside the factory satellite, the command center—most heavily defended—takes the hit. The Leap Bullet detonates, scattering destructive energy.
No one left to pull Fortress Cannon’s trigger.
“Good. Send in the suppression squad—seize the factory satellite!”
Thus, the rebellion of the Prince loyalists in Prince Akira’s territory was quelled.
We’d misjudged the warp-out point.
