109 Lord's Compilation 21: Method of Personal Ship Construction
According to Lord Campbell, the noble of the Gern system, the research facility is supposedly run by a private corporation.
Since it's a research site with potential biohazard risks, strict isolation measures are required. Supply runs and personnel transfers to the asteroid housing the facility bypass all planets in the Gern system entirely.
Even though they don’t know the true mastermind behind it—probably Gail—they had no choice but to obey orders from above, held hostage by their own lifeline of supply.
But this time, the clone shipment was apparently an emergency. They received orders through an unprecedented route.
I always thought the Personal Ship the clone was riding in was manufactured here at this facility.
But this place was just a clone supply facility. The clone was transported elsewhere, received a Personal Ship there, and then forced into an attack. That’s the pattern.
The destination of that transport was the new lead.
Daron System, Industrial Planet Daron-4.
That was exactly where Gail had been told the clone was moved.
The planetary lord of the Daron System is Prince Riot, the eighth prince.
Higher in rank than Prince or Cain. Almost certainly the puppet master.
But if this was a trap, we’d be making enemies of the wrong people.
We can’t just say “oops, we attacked the wrong guy” after the fact.
If this place was just a relay point, I’d be mortified.
We have no choice but to contact them through proper channels and wait for a reply.
If a kidnapped Earthling’s illegal clone was moved through their system as a cover, a sane prince wouldn’t let whoever set them up off the hook.
So I decided to investigate the mastermind from another angle.
I’d trace the origin of the Personal Ship the clones were aboard.
If it was made in the Daron system, the mastermind was Prince Riot, the eighth son.
I set out to study the manufacturing process of Personal Ships—and the regional variations.
First, I examined how Personal Ships were built at the station.
Here’s how it worked:
1. Gamers with proven skill had their SFO application abducted.
2. Confirm whether the gamer would participate. If not, erase their memory and send them back.
3. Collect DNA from gamers who wanted to participate.
4. Inject the gamer’s DNA into the raw ship.
5. If the raw ship’s brain requests parts, supply them. (Optional. If provided, manufacturing time shortens.)
6. The raw ship fuses with its material, forming an evolution field—then the Personal Ship is complete.
I didn’t know about this. A "raw ship" just showed up out of nowhere.
Best thing? Ask the factory mother ship’s AI, which was making wildspace vessels.
‘Know what a raw ship is?’
‘Yes. A juvenile vessel. In the Empire, they call it a raw ship.’
‘So it’s alive?’
‘I am a mineral lifeform. Producing offspring is my survival instinct.’
‘Then why does the Empire have it?’
‘Probably because the Empire controls other mineral lifeforms capable of producing offspring like me. That one, likely.’
‘What happens if you give DNA to the juvenile?’
‘It gains high-performance organs encoded in the DNA.’
‘So that’s why I got my escort fleet?’
‘Precisely. The finest among my offspring—my child, and Akira’s. ♡’
‘Heh, never mind that. Do capital ships show distinctive traits?’
‘We’re not all the same. Genetic markers are bound to exist.’
Right. So if I analyze the offspring’s traits, I can pinpoint the mother ship.
Assuming the empire’s full military strength, there must be multiple capital ships under imperial control.
If I can categorize them, I might trace their origin.
Likewise, the components we’ve fused through evolution probably vary by region.
By comparing differences between capital ships and their parts, I might identify where they were built.
For now, I’ll start by analyzing differences in sample capital ships.
My Personal Ship as a sample of station-built vessels.

The factory flagship ran mineral-lifeform genetic analyses on these and produced a report.
"Genes in mineral lifeforms? Really?"
"Yes. The genes that govern mineral lifeforms’ minds — we call them 'mental DNA.'"
"Mental DNA..."
"It’s this mental DNA that shapes the physical form — the actual mineral structure I take on."
Let’s skip the complicated stuff.
First, the Prince’s main force and my Personal Ship both belong to the same mother-ship lineage. Let’s call this the A mother-ship lineage.
Well, my Personal Ship was built under the Prince’s oversight, so it’s only natural it’d be part of the same lineage.
Next up, the Personal Ships of the 10th Prince and Lord Gilbert are part of the same lineage. Call this the B Mother-Ship Line.
The B Mother-Ship Line is said to be extremely close to the A Mother-Ship Line.
The samples from the three armies at Anoi Fortress also belong to this same lineage. Call this the C Mother-Ship Line.
This one is completely different from both the A and B Mother-Ship Lines.
Meanwhile, the Personal Ship carrying the clone didn’t belong to any known lineage—X Mother-Ship Line.
Apparently, this X Mother-Ship Line is entirely distinct from both the A/B and C Mother-Ship Lines.
If the X Mother-Ship Line were the same as Daron IV’s lineage… well, that’d be as black as night.
Daron IV is an industrial planet, after all—so it’s not entirely out of the question that a Mother-Ship could be there.
Now, parts. Basic armaments, especially those that’ve been standard for ages, are manufactured even in fortress ship production facilities.
Stations, for example, can build fighter craft from scratch.
The manufacturing method… well, it was the kind of thing you wouldn’t want to show—or hear about—on a factory Mother-Ship.
Probably some cloning equipment taken from the mother-ship, using mineral-based lifeforms as raw material, transferring weapon DNA, then pumping in high energy—crystallization happened, and the weapons took shape.
Another round of genetic analysis, this time from the factory mother-ship.
No explanations about the manufacturing process—just analysis of the finished product.
Also, the Personal Ship was a separate lineage of the X genetic line.
A Personal Ship with an X-genome hull and X-genome weaponry—this would match the Daron-4 production line. If so, the mastermind’s the eighth prince.
So how the hell do you even investigate a Daron-4 Personal Ship?
Could you get help from someone?
Grabbing one on your own would be considered an act of war, though.
