That’s right. I had come to the port town to deliver improvements for the fishing harbor.
Because Yuki-sama suggested we open a shop, we ended up getting all caught up in that instead.
"Indeed. We can settle the shop details with you and the others later, but didn't you have something to discuss regarding the fishing harbor?"
Ugh, does that mean we’re expected to be involved in running the shop, too? We’re already busy enough as it is.
Ignoring my inner turmoil, the conversation pressed on.
"Right. I discussed it with Taiki-kun, and to put it simply: we should hire personnel from Aurelia Port who have actual experience, and bring in military personnel to handle monster subjugation. Why not set a precedent quickly?"
"A precedent, you say?"
"That might be for the best. We’ve been looking for people to work at the fishing harbor, but we haven't gathered many so far."
"When you say 'not many,' does that mean you’ve gathered some?"
I asked, responding to Sona-sama’s words.
"Yeah. Since the full-scale recruitment is tied to the one in Mikos, I’ve only reached out to acquaintances. Maybe two people so far?"
"That is... certainly not many."
I don’t think two people can possibly secure the projected catch. More than that, I can’t wait around to see how long it takes for those two to get used to fishing.
"As Sona says, we haven't gathered enough people, and if things continue this way, the resort will lack its signature attraction. I believe Yuki-sama—no, Taiki-sama’s proposal is a sound one."
"So, we’re getting approval to dispatch personnel from Aurelia Port and the military?"
"Yes. Looking at the current situation, they’re far too terrified of the sea to be of any use."
"Exactly. Besides, the ships are custom-made, right? Even if Yayui teaches them, it’ll take time. I think we should move as quickly as possible."

"What about the ship deliveries? Have you heard anything on that front?"
"Won't Yuki-sama just replicate them and bring them out?"
"No, I’m commissioning production this time. Of course, we’ll provide the critical internal mechanisms, but I’ve asked the blacksmiths and carpenters—through Narjia-san—to build the exterior and the basic hull. I want them to be able to produce ships even when we aren't around."
"I see. That is certainly necessary. However, if it takes too long, we will have to ask Yuki-sama to provide them."
"That can't be helped. It’s only natural. So, Yayui, after we finish the consultation for the shop, we’ll head to the military to arrange the trip to Aurelia Port. Finally, we’ll do a ship inspection. Does that work for you?"
"Yes, that’s fine. But are you really serious about running a shop?"
Sisia-sama asked about the shop topic from earlier. I looked toward Yuki-sama, wondering if he was truly serious...
"That depends on the results of our consultation. You should iron out the specific schedule. Coordinate with Aurelia and Hobis, too. Oh, and you can make use of Prol and Yayui if needed."
"Those two are Yuki-sama’s minimum security detail, so we absolutely will not rely on them. Why are you like this, Yuki-sama... *sigh*. Very well, Sisia-sama, Sona-sama, regarding the shop, we shall discuss it again later..."
I declared it firmly, and Sisia-sama and Sona-sama nodded in agreement.
Yes, Aurelia and Hobis have their duties as Yuki-sama’s attendants; it’s unthinkable for them to work for a shop. Yet, Yuki-sama seems genuinely ready to do it.
"That went faster than I thought."
"We haven't even decided on the details of the shop yet, after all."
"Exactly. I’ll be thinking about various things in the meantime, so please handle the fishing harbor matter."
"Yes, leave it to us."
With that, we left the government office and headed toward the military port. An aircraft carrier was docked there, and I heard that Dressa-sama and her group were currently at the military base, not on the carrier itself.
"It’s a relief we don't have to cross the sea."
"But will the maritime security be alright?"
"It’s not like the aircraft carrier is the only thing patrolling the sea. We don't need a mothership just for underwater monsters. We have destroyers and cruisers out there, and they can handle resupply."
"Ah, that’s right. I had forgotten."
The Weed Navy isn't just two aircraft carriers. Yuki-sama had said that operating a carrier alone is impossible. After receiving the carriers and their support vessels from Luna-sama, he had negotiated to receive combat ships like destroyers and cruisers as well. Otherwise, he said, fleet operations would be impossible.
By the way, the ship docked at the Weed port is the *Luna*-class carrier No. 1, *Luna*, while the second ship, *Liriche*, is currently patrolling the area around Aurelia Port and the Seasypho Kingdom.
As we were explaining our visit to the gate guard at the entrance of the base...
"Oh? If it isn't Yuki and Yayui. What brings you here?"
Dressa-sama was just coming out of the base.

And so, we were able to meet with Dressa-sama without even entering the base.
"So, this isn't an invitation for the night, is it?"

"I see, that’s a shame. Though I wouldn't mind even if it were during the day?"
"That’s definitely not happening."
Ugh, Yuki-sama’s wives say things like that so casually. I suppose it’s a good thing they’re close, but it’s a bit embarrassing for those of us listening.
"You’re so serious. You should let loose at least once. No one would blame you. Anyway, what did you come here for? I didn't hear anything about a visit."
Dressa-sama didn't react to Yuki-sama’s cold response and kept the conversation moving.
Yes, this kind of banter—which borders on sexual harassment—seems to be a form of communication for them. Prol-san and Hobis say it’s a good thing, but Aurelia and I find it a bit difficult to handle.
Well, it’s not like we don't bathe together, so I don't know what room I have to talk... but there’s a time and place, and the workplace feels wrong.
I don't mind the flirting at home. Aurelia and I like it, too.

"The fishing harbor? Not about the defense of the port town?"
