"This place stays unchanged."
It could also be said that it's good there are no strange additions.
Too many choices inevitably lead to more hesitation.
"Resistance... resistance... huh. I should really think this through properly."
While the incredible resistance to aging is often highlighted, poison immunity is also quite impressive.
Being completely immune to poison with just 10 points is, in reality, the kind of cheat that would belong in the "special abilities" section.
I don't know how many poisonous creatures exist in that world, but being nearly invincible against snakes and scorpions might be quite advantageous.
I like snakes and scorpions, you know.
Still, points are limited. I'll go with the straightforward choice here.
I allocated 3 points to disease resistance, leveling it up to level 2, and 7 points to aging resistance, bringing it to level 3.
Total points used: 10. Remaining points: 41.
This was already a high priority even before the transfer, so there was no need to hesitate.
Incidentally, the Natural Recovery Increase (Wound) skill is only useful when taken to level 3 or higher; at lower levels, it only provides a minimal effect, such as just a little hair growth. If you're aiming for zombie warrior-like abilities, you'll want at least level 4—though I don't plan to build a warrior, so it's unnecessary for me.
The Spirit Power skill, on the other hand, refers to the recovery rate relative to individual Spirit Power—essentially, your total MP. It's considered standard wisdom not to take it at this stage, since we don't yet know whether your maximum MP will be high or low.
Let's check the rest.

● Physical Abilities
Physical Ability Up from Spirit Power
・Stamina Up Level 1–5 5/7/10/15/20
・Vitality Up Level 1–5 5/7/10/15/20
・Spirit Power Up Level 1–5 5/7/10/15/20
・Vision Boost Level 1~3 3/7/10
・Hearing Boost Level 1~3 3/7/10
・Smell Boost Level 1~3 1/3/5
・Taste Boost Level 1~3 1/3/5
―――――――――――――――――――――――――
No major changes here.
The key points remain the same.
For me, who's always had poor eyesight, the vision boost is appealing, but for now, it's fine. If it granted immediate effects upon acquisition, darts transfer would be advantageous, but the ability only activates after the transfer.
For now, I'll skip this.

・Wind Spirit Magic 10p

・Chaos Spirit Arts 150p

"150 points...?"
The Recovery Magic was gone, replaced by something entirely different—Chaos Spirit Arts.
But 150 points is extreme. It might be possible to acquire with effort, but it's nothing but a romantic choice otherwise.
Serika-chan once taught me in class that in that world, "Chaos" is also referred to as "Magic." Thus, Chaos Spirit Stones are also known as "Magic Stones."
In other words, this Chaos Spirit Arts must be referring to "Magic."
The Demon King Hi-chan fought was known to use Magic. So, this means I'll be able to use that kind of power—but still, 150 points is...
Over the long term, it might be possible to accumulate enough over several years to obtain it, and perhaps there are even exceptional individuals who manage to achieve it after decades of aging. Not everyone would choose a practical, risk-averse lifestyle, after all.
Still, just like with healing magic, there's also the factor of required spiritual energy—anyone can see that simply having it isn't useful if you can't actually use it.
That doesn't concern me either. I won't be taking spirit magic at this stage.

————————————————————
The basic item bundle is worth around ten points, possibly equivalent to a twenty-point bargain set. Even so, ten points is substantial.
Moreover, once you transfer, you can't take it back, so deciding whether or not to take it is actually quite important. ...Well, I'm not taking it, though.
Scrolling down the screen reveals a large selection of equipment and tools available for exchange.
Thinking about it, being able to get anything anytime, anywhere, is essentially an incredible cheat. It's like every transmigrant possesses a "shopping skill" of some kind.
Even though having points is a given, this advantage should definitely be thought through carefully.
Among the first-wave transmigrants, it's said that Jeanne always makes sure to keep at least six points. Truly impressive.
"Huh? Is this an additional item?"

・Dummy Ring 1 Point
Second-wave Transfer Commemoration Service Item. A ring that can absorb one instance of fatal damage on your behalf. Non-transferable. Can be exchanged only once.
――――――――――――――――――――――――
"Oddly knowledgeable about games, aren't you..."
This is a familiar type of item in RPGs.
The kind that shatters and takes the blow when you're hit by a one-shot magic attack.
Of course I want it, but I can put it off for now. If it's the same point value, the barrier stone takes priority.
Other items probably wouldn't make much of a difference.
Either way, I can always acquire items later, so I'll pass on them for now.
"……Well then, I'll invest in this. It's hard to decide… but I believe in myself."
Given how few points remain, the logical choice would be to put everything into physical attributes, but that wasn't my intention.
(Sorry, Celica-chan.)
Apologizing silently in my mind, I open the "Special Abilities" section and select "Mind Communication."
I can almost hear a shout: "After saying all that, you end up doing this?!" But I'm allocating my points according to my own beliefs.
Even if there were another "correct" choice, whether or not I pick it is a separate matter altogether.
I naturally understand Cecilia's point.
"Transfer to a safe destination," "along with a basic item pack," "upgrade physical abilities before transferring"
— that's undoubtedly the right approach. At the very least, they certainly shouldn't die immediately.
But ultimately, you can't move forward without enhancing your strengths.
Choosing here could very well decide one's entire life, so it's impossible to base the decision solely on simple "stability."
There are others besides Jeanne who focused their transfer on endurance and vitality, but Jeanne is the only one who became both strong and popular. It's true that such transfer recipients have exceptionally high survival rates, but I'm not transferring just to survive.
To be honest, I'm not particularly good at physical activity, so I'd probably be terrible at fighting with swords or spears. Besides, among the current team members—Reflia-san and Jeanne-san especially—there are already plenty who excel in close combat.
On top of that, I have my own things I'd like to do.
"Nanamin might be good at communication, you know? She likes animals,"
Karen-chan quietly suggested with her usual unique intonation. That made my options significantly shift, and depending on the transfer destination, I was considering going with that choice.
Anyway, even without that, communication ability seems like a solid choice.
Thirty points is a substantial amount. There's no doubt it's worth that much.
Few transferees have achieved communication, but with this ability, one can even communicate with beasts and, remarkably, with monsters. Though the description states "animals," in reality, it works just as well with monsters.
Still, monsters are generally hostile toward humans by nature, so even if communication is possible, it doesn't mean they'll become friends or get along.
Animals in that world are large and powerful. Naturally, they grow stronger through battle, and theoretically, one could raise them to the level of a "monstrosity."
Also, special abilities cannot be acquired after transfer.
For that reason, the decision must be made here and now.
"Only eleven points left now…"
It's a rather awkward number if one wants to acquire anything further.
I had planned to leave some points unused from the beginning, but now it's all about how to best use these remaining points.
The transfer location can still be changed, but there aren't enough points for a "safe continental transfer." Well, let's just gamble on darts.
Choosing dart transfer means randomness is involved. Considering the need to move to the city, a high-performance world map is essential, so that's three points.
One point for the barrier stone.
There's also a possibility that boots will be needed if you're launched to a precarious location, like Hei-chan.
In any case, leaving points reserved for unforeseen circumstances will be the standard for this transfer.
So, if we're using points now, perhaps only around three points at most.
But if we can't adjust the items that can't be changed here, there's no need to force their use.
Then again, maybe we should increase age by one more, or add a disadvantageous element.
Taking "Big Eater" and then "Dark Vision" isn't a bad option either. If I'm living alongside him, that ability will serve me well indefinitely.
Still, the drawbacks of Big Eater are too significant. It's not just the sheer embarrassment of it all.
"Uhh... "
Dark Vision costs fifteen points.
I could manage it if I pushed myself, but if I take it, I'd have to give up Frontline Fighter entirely at that point. Naturally, I'd also abandon scouting duties.
In that case, Dark Vision isn't a necessity. If Hii-chan handles reconnaissance, I'd be better off filling in the gaps where she's lacking.
There are already enough pure frontline warriors.
So, aiming for something like a Water Spirit Mage who can command summoned creatures while also providing healing and support seems like the better path.
There's also the option of using a bow as a backline weapon. If doing that, night vision would be useful, but taking increased vision would work too—
the possibilities are endless if you think about it.
Still, overthinking the future won't help. The priority right now is just to reunite.
Once you've chosen "Telepathy" as your ability, you've already taken a significant risk. Pushing further feels like it could lead to your downfall.
Remaining points are like lives—precious and finite.
"……Let's go with this. The real challenge comes after the transfer."
As Serika-chan said, transferring to a safe location while maxing out stamina and vitality is undoubtedly the most stable approach. It might take years, but one day we'll surely meet up with Hii-chan.
Assuming he survives until then.
He still believes, because of me, that he's hated by all humans on Earth.
Thanks to Madame Jeanne and the others, he's somewhat regained his mental stability, but it's still uncertain what might trigger his breakdown.
...No, perhaps he's already irreparably broken, appearing normal only from the outside.
Especially since many of the second-wave transmigrants are likely choosing the Ring Pill and heading toward Meltya.
There's no guarantee they'll tell him the truth.
Or perhaps Hee-chan will just shut them out without even listening.
That's why it's up to me. I'm the one who must tell him the truth.
Because only I can save his heart.
Let me confirm the choice one last time.
The 30 points for Mind Communication are truly significant. Acquiring them means choosing to live as a Tamers. According to those
who've obtained Mind Communication as their first transfer, they can clearly sense what animals are thinking, and their own emotions are also fully conveyed. It's like
telepathy—direct understanding between hearts—making any ill intent or ulterior motives completely transparent. But that's probably not a problem. I
double-checked everything before pressing the Done button.

『You have selected Darts Teleport. Throw darts in the adjacent room to determine your teleportation location.』
The message appeared, and upon looking at the adjacent wall, a door had materialized.
It had been an empty room just a moment ago.
Entering the adjacent room, a map was posted on the wall, and a single dart rested on a small table.
"The map is really small... This is definitely a high difficulty."
Research on the geography of that world has already progressed to a certain extent.
Overall, it's quite similar to Earth, with climate conditions that are remarkably alike.
Naturally, I know exactly where Meltya is located on the world map. Otherwise, I wouldn't have chosen dart teleportation.
The slow line is marked in red, but you can still get close to examine the map.
Of course, if you cheat by throwing before the slow line, you can imagine the severe penalty that would follow.
The map measures roughly 50 centimeters wide by 40 centimeters tall.
In a way, being able to see this map is itself a spoiler, but since all second-wave teleporters possess this level of knowledge, it's clear that the gods have already accounted for that. After all, broadcasting live streams is such a tacky thing to do—so naturally, it's expected.
I briefly considered the possibility that the map might be rotating, but dismissed it—since that would be effectively the same as random teleportation. I was relieved it wasn't spinning.
I certainly couldn't aim accurately at a specific spot on a spinning map.
Still, the map is small.
At minimum, I'd need precision enough to hit mainland Japan on a world map. Otherwise, rendezvousing would take far too long.
"Well then. Gotta make sure this dart lands in the Bullseye."
In terms of continental scale, Ring Pillar is actually quite small.
It's even worse if it's three meters away.
But right now, I've already regained my vision.
And somehow, darts is one of the few skills where I've managed to hold my own against Serika-chan.
"Girls have guts! Just wait a bit, Hii-chan!"
I stood at the slow line and threw a dart confidently toward Meltya.
The dart traced a clean parabola and neatly pierced the map.
'Your transfer location has been determined.'
'Then, may you have a splendid life. I wish you luck.'
I was enveloped in dazzling light.
