I blinked and was already there—right in Seattle on the West Coast.

I’ve popped in a few times before the Day of Calamity, so this time it went smooth...

A Titan’s in New York, sure—but I’m not dumb enough to just show up there out of nowhere! I mean, it’s the strongest monster there is: the giant Titan!

Gotta have a plan before jumping into battle. That’s what I thought, so I took to the sky, searching for the giant.

The town was a mess—completely wrecked. Buildings were collapsed, like something out of a war zone.

After flying for a while, I spotted two giants.

That one...?

It’s a naked giant, nearly ten meters tall. First, I gotta test if my power even works on a giant. I pulled out something I got after fighting the “Immortal King” from my storage space.

So first thing’s first—job selection. My plan? Max out every rare job, then pick the most efficient ones to focus on and level up hard.

SR and SSR jobs? Sloppy stat gains. Save those for later.

I raise my staff and fire off a spell. Weird, fighting as a warrior but using magic. But hey, what can you do?

One giant turns into a flaming ball… but won’t die. Not even close.

Rolling around, screaming—but still alive. Probably the Self-Repair skill. Burning alive, but healing right through it.

After a while, the fire dies. Groaning, it staggers back up.

Finally, I unload a few rounds of the combo spell “Blast Bomb” and finish it off. Man, using a magic staff really boosts spell power… Feels like I’ve been using my bare hands all this time. What a difference.

I try “Gravity Crush” on a confused, wandering giant. And—what the hell?! It actually withstands it? Not even close to what I expected.

Heavy weight, right? Should’ve been crushed by gravity manipulation. But no—this thing’s got insane brute strength, fighting back like it’s nothing. After how effective it was on undead… this is a shock. A real one.

I finally knocked it down with a bunch of sword swings—big body, hard to land a killing blow, really struggled with it.

This isn't some magic trick where leveling up your sword skill just fixes everything.

Taking this long against a low-tier giant...? The future’s looking grim...

I was flying through the sky, hunting down giants one after another. After taking down dozens, my warrior level capped out... yeah, the experience gain from these guys is nothing like what undead give.

And after fighting off dozens of giants, one thing became clear—there are all kinds of giants. Some look like people, others are made of rock, and some are covered in metal. They vary in size too—some are five meters tall, others barely twenty.

Magic worked differently—most spells hit human-shaped targets, but barely touched stone. Only one worked: water magic.

Lightning and fire worked on the metal giant—nothing else really did. But even then, it took shot after shot to bring it down.

Gotta figure out a more efficient way to take these down... That’s what I was thinking as I pushed forward across the ruined land...
