Chapter 43: The One Who Commands Demons

A massive boulder dropped onto the humanoid giant, immobilized by gravity manipulation—right as it was about to die—

"TEIM!!"

A magic circle appeared where the giant stood. If successful, the monster would appear on the glowing board’s “List” in my hand.

"Failed…?"

The success rate of Teim seems to depend on the rank of my职业 skill… still only C-rank, so it’s not going well. But I’ve already successfully Teimed two giants—both now listed.

Slightly smaller—humanoid and rock-type giants.

At first, I thought “Teim” meant taming monsters to travel with, but apparently not.

It’s about adding fully defeated monsters to my List, then summoning them with summoning magic. Previously, summoning magic just spat out random monsters—frankly, useless.

But Teim lets me summon any monster I want. Way more practical. As my Summoning Magic (I) level increases, summoning time will lengthen too—becoming even more useful.

Best of all, this “Monster Tamer” job board has ten slots. If I reach SSS-rank, I might even Teim the strongest Titan giant…?

While thinking that, I kept hunting giants, maxing out my level.

Since arriving in America, I’ve been camping in ruins at night. Giants don’t seem to move much at night, so I can sleep without worry—really helpful.

Then again, I could just instantly teleport back to my house in Japan anytime. Sleeping and lodging? No problem at all. Instant teleportation is just… too convenient…

"Phew… took a while, but my Teim success rate’s definitely improving now…"

It took me five days to max out four职业 boards.

I’ve tamed a total of seven giants. Seems like the list display isn’t unlimited—apparently, Rank S on the职业 board only lets you show seven at a time.

Also, the number of beasts you can summon at once seems capped. Right now, it’s three. Maybe lower-ranked monsters could be summoned more? Not sure yet—gotta check.

Thanks to my Summoning Magic level rising, I managed to tame even 20-meter-class giants. Guess I’ll keep pushing the level up hard from here.

Finally, I’ve fully mastered the Beastmaster职业. Title: "Master of Demons"... With Rank SSS, I can now list up to twelve creatures, and summon five or six powerful ones at once.

Plus, since my rank hit maximum and I’ve got the Goddess’s Blessing boosting my luck stat, my taming success rate is basically 100%.

Summoning Magic level also hit (XXX) Triple X—but given how many职业 boards I’ve got, I expected to have more Summoning Magic spells acquired. Huh. Maybe the upper limit for magic and skill levels is just Triple X? Gotta remember that.

Summoning time can last over thirty minutes. Among all the magic I have, this summoning is the strongest—there’s no doubt it’ll become my main force...

Now I can tame a powerful giant and throw it straight at the Titan. The battle plan’s set! Just need to prepare now!!
