Chapter 109: The Strongest Attack
I was flying, heading straight for the spot where I’d first dropped the meteor impact.
The earth had been gouged deep, and along the exposed layers, countless worm-like creatures writhed in thick clusters.
I thought the one that fell off in front of the tower was the one that took the hit... but isn’t the one that landed here doing the most damage?
Probably spreading tendrils across all of France centered right here, siphoning life force. That’s why she had such insane regenerative power.

That’s what I thought. I gave orders to the three monsters.

The Titan swings its axe downward in response to my command. The ground erupts, splitting open with a massive crack.
The countless worms inside were swallowed by the magma and never moved again.
Shiva fired a fireball from above, slamming it into the ground before the tower. The earth exploded outward, opening a vast, deep crater. Inside, countless leeches writhed—twisting in agony from the heat.
Shiva stepped into the hole and directly breathed fire onto the exposed worm, incinerating it with searing flames.
The Hydra, flying around the tower, emitted light that obliterated the earthworms beneath the ground.
It’s like starving it out—cutting off the energy sources around the tower. The tower can’t even speak… but it’s glaring at me with pure, seething hatred from every inch of its body.

The kids gathered in front of the TV, eyes wide, utterly absorbed. The boys especially were buzzing with excitement, practically bouncing like they were watching a movie.
"Teacher, what happens next?"
A little girl asked anxiously, turning to Freyja, who was watching the broadcast with her.
"Nothing much. Bad monsters? They’ll get taken down by the heroes of justice."
Freyja smiled warmly at the girl.
"Heroes of justice... really? Are they even real?"
Another boy asked, disbelief thick in his voice. Freyja answered without hesitation.
"Of course they are! Whenever anyone’s in trouble, they show up. So don’t you worry at all."
Yeah... Gojo.

[Japan, Osaka Prime Minister's Office]
"Prime Minister, the UN just called. It’s about Gojo..."
"Leave it. Not now."
At the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister, Todah, and his cabinet members were all gathered around the TV, watching the live feed. Though Gojo hadn’t reported directly to the Japanese government about the battle in France, given everything else that had happened, it was clear he’d been the one to take the lead.
"From now on, we’ll probably get calls from all over the world. Heard the newspapers already reached out."
The Minister of Home Affairs said, a hint of annoyance in his tone, thinking ahead.
"Can’t help it. If the world’s in crisis, Gojo’s the one who has to step up front and fight."
Prime Minister Todah was certain Gojo had destroyed the "Leader" in France.
What worried him, though, was what came after. He was deeply concerned about how someone with power beyond imagination would be treated once the crisis passed.
"Fujō Shōmen will be protected by the Japanese government. That’s our duty."

Sakagi and Shimizu were glued to the TV in a room at Gifu Base, holding their breath.
"If Gojo’s on the job, we should be fine..."
"Yeah, I believe in him—but the enemy’s an unknown creature. Can’t afford to relax."
"Even if we win, Gojo’s name is gonna come out no matter what."
They both knew what kind of outrageous treatment Gojo had faced when his existence became known to the Self-Defense Force and the government.
"A lot to worry about... but first, we gotta take down this monster. Otherwise, humanity’s done. Worrying about later? Can’t do that now."
"Yeah. Right now, we’ve just gotta trust everything to Gojo."

While I held back the tentacles with magic, the three monsters kept attacking the worm-like creature buried underground.
Titan’s "Axe of Annihilation" cleaved through the earth, spilling magma inside. Shiva’s "Fireball" blew away vast stretches of ground. The Hydra’s "Destruction Light" gouged deep into the earth.
And even now, they were launching attacks at the three "Vines" still supporting the Tower.
Those Vines were probably piping energy into the Tower. If we don’t destroy them completely, they’ll just regenerate after each hit.
The three monsters attacked the Vines in perfect sync—simultaneously. Each strike shattered a Vine, severing it from the Tower.
"Alright, we’re ready. Come on, Hydra!!"
The three-headed dragon soared through the sky, then landed behind me. The heavy thud echoed, dust kicking up in a cloud.
The "Tower," deprived of its vital energy source, still reacted—sensing danger, it extended its limbs, writhing like waves, launching an attack.
I raised both hands in front of my body. Light gathered between my palms, while behind me, the Hydra stood in a fighting stance, light gathering in each of its three mouths.
This one shot decides it—
"Dragon Blast!!"
As I fired the light, the Hydra unleashed three blinding flashes. Four annihilating beams surged forward, blasting apart the wave of limbs, then struck the Tower dead-on.
Fourfold light tore a massive windhole through the Tower, light stretching far into the distance.
Me and the Hydra slowly raised the beams of annihilation. The light ravaged the Tower’s body, carving upward toward the peak with brutal force.
When the light faded, the Tower lay in ruins. A gaping hole tore through its body, the surface carved deep from base to summit.
The egg atop the Tower didn’t regenerate—just as expected. Then—...
Just as I thought that, the Tower began to collapse, groaning with the sound of the earth itself. What had once been 1,700 meters tall slowly, steadily, sank downward.

Wang shouted from right in front of the monitor. Nearly all of Suzaku’s members had gathered, watching the battle in France on a massive screen.
Most members knew Gojo and cheered for him, but Wang—Wan—was so loud in his support that even the fellow members hesitated a little.
But watching the "Tower"—the thing said to destroy the world—crumbling right before my eyes? I can’t help but scream in delight. Amidst all that—
"Hey, wait a sec! Something's off!"
One of the members shouted.

The tower kept spinning, sinking lower and lower, but at the same time, spreading wider. Something was seriously wrong—my gut tightened with suspicion.
From above, it looks like a massive "well." The inside is hollow—no bottom in sight.

The thing looming ahead of me, standing straight up like a pillar… it’s nothing like the towers we’ve seen before.
