Its true identity is the genuine spider, implanted with the memories of Wakaba-hime ≪Wakaba-hime≫, serving as a substitute for D. Daughter of the lord of the Kelen region, Salieria. True vampire, born as such. Involved in the war between the Goddess Cult and the Divine Word Sect, lost both parents, and was nearly killed by Potimas. Rescued by Shiro and the Demon King. Subsequently underwent a training journey disguised as a spider-style intensive camp, growing into a capable individual. Her late parents would surely be looking down from the afterlife, eyes wide in disbelief at her current state. Now a member of the Demon King’s army, serving under Shiro. In her previous life, she endured a difficult youth, ostracized and bullied due to her appearance. This shaped her slightly skewed personality. Technically, she is Potimas's clone daughter. She was manipulated by a skill granted by some obscure deity—apparently deemed more entertaining this way—and used by Potimas in turn. A pitiful individual. She persisted in protecting the reincarnates out of a sense of duty as a teacher, but this backfired. As she herself admits, she could not properly engage with students unless she played a role. She could not accept the fact of her reincarnation without clinging to the obligation of being a teacher. In a sense, she is the most victimized and the most culpable among the reincarnates.
Yugo / | Ken-go Natsume
The prince of the Rhengzand Empire. Isolated, with no confidants sharing his circumstances, and no trustworthy individuals within the imperial court due to political entanglements. His worldview became distorted, having lived without discontent in his previous life. Exploited by some spider-like entity. The one who relentlessly targeted Shun, plunging the world into chaos. In his prior existence, he was somewhat self-centered, expressing his true thoughts without reservation—this often led to being disliked, yet many were drawn to his candid demeanor. Shun found him irksome, disliked him intensely, yet remained a central figure among males. Had he pursued university entrance, worked part-time, entered society, and grown steadily, he would have led an untroubled life. Alternatively, if upon reincarnation, he had first met Shun and Shun had not avoided him out of lingering past discomfort, and had instead noticed the ambiguous SOS, the outcome might have differed.
Yuri / | Hasebe Yuka
Orphaned from the Holy Aelius Church Kingdom. Abandoned at the church's gates. Due to being a reincarnated soul with consciousness, she remembers the moment of abandonment—this memory is a trauma. To overcome it, she became deeply immersed in the doctrine of the Divine Word Church, and before she realized it, she had become a candidate for the next Saintess. In her previous life, she was an ordinary high school girl. She had quietly harbored feelings for the boy sitting beside her—another ordinary boy—and lived through a bittersweet youth. She is the main perpetrator who bullied and tormented others out of resentment after being rejected by a senior she admired, who preferred Wakaba-hime color. Those around her vaguely sensed the danger of Wakaba-hime color, known as D, and attempted to stop Mirie’s actions. In the print edition, she is a regular member in the S arc.
Kunihiko / | Tagawa Kunihiko
Born in a village on the border between human and demon territories, where the villagers engaged in bandit-like acts against demons. Gained fame as an adventurer by defeating the demon general Melazofis, who later destroyed the village. During the Human-Demon War, the long-awaited confrontation with Melazofis occurred, but the outcome was a draw—overwhelming power difference could not be overcome. Recognized personal limitations. Subsequently traveled to the elven settlement, drawn into conflict between elves and the Demon Army. In a previous life, a mundane male high school student with only a strained childhood connection to a former acquaintance. Reunited with that same acquaintance through reincarnation—by some measure, fate.
Asaka / | Kushitani Asaka ≪Kushitani Asaka≫
Born in a village along the border between human and demon nations, where the inhabitants engaged in bandit-like acts against demons. Essentially, the same village as Kunihiko. Possesses a pragmatic, grounded perspective, serving as a restraint on Kunihiko’s tendency toward reckless behavior. Rises to fame as an adventurer alongside Kunihiko. Deep down, desires to live peacefully somewhere without conflict, yet wields a weapon for Kunihiko’s sake. “I couldn’t survive without Asaka,” Kunihiko claims. May you explode forever. Lifelong, rotten acquaintance from a previous life.
Sajin / | Kusama Shinobu ≪Kusama Shinobu≫
Born into the family that oversees the hidden faction of the Holy Aleyus Church. Due to this lineage, the Pope recognized from birth an unusual skill, which served as the catalyst for revealing the existence of a reincarnate. From early childhood, subjected to covert training. To fulfill their duties as Demon Lord and rescue their foster parent, Sariel, they slew Potimas. Originally one of the failed subjects of Potimas's human experiments, a chimera created using Potimas's genetic material—depending on perspective, could be considered Potimas's daughter. As a failed experiment, they endured prolonged physical deterioration and suffering, but gradually improved through the system's power. Over many years, they attained the world's greatest strength. Having nearly exhausted that power in their quest to defeat Potimas, they now await only the natural conclusion of their life span.
Melazophis
Fourth Division Commander of the Demon Army. Formerly a vassal and right-hand of the lord of the Kelen region in the Kingdom of Salyera. Drawn into the conflict between the Godword Sect and the Goddess Sect, he was on the verge of death at the hands of Potimas when Sophia transformed him into a vampire. Since then, he has served under the Demon Lord alongside Sophia, rising through the ranks of the Demon Army to become a division commander. Though holding the rank of commander, his primary loyalty remains to Lady Sophia. He swore allegiance to the late lord and lady of his former domain, and strives each day to become the man worthy of protecting Sophia, fulfilling their final will.
Balt
Right-hand of the Demon King. The individual effectively overseeing the demon race. A man burdened by hardship. Striving to remedy the gradual decline of the demon race due to population decrease, he found himself driven to despair when Ariel assumed the Demon King's position and declared an invasion of the human race—pushing the demon race into further crisis. He suffers from stomach pain as a result. Overworked to the point of concern for exhaustion-induced death by Shiro. Keep going.
Argner
Commander of the Demon King's First Army. Deceased. A veteran demon who pursued a different strategy than Balt in attempting to save the demon race. However, he fell under the control of a certain spider. Among demons, he was unquestionably competent, yet in the end, he was discarded and crushed by Queen Taratokt.
Sarnatria
Second Commander of the Demon Army. Childhood friend of Balt, a seductive female. Of the succubus lineage, her beauty and magic allow her to manipulate others at will. She harbors distrust toward Ariel, the current Demon Lord, and plots to undermine her in secret. Yet all her schemes are transparent to Ariel. She remains unaware that Balt has shielded her.
Kogou
Third Commander of the Demon Army. Dislikes conflict and does not wish to follow Ariel, who actively seeks war. Sarnatria exploits this sentiment, offering alliance to rebel together.
Dorado
Fifth Division Commander of the Demon Army. Born into a family sworn to absolute loyalty to the Demon Lord across generations, thus adhering to a policy of following the Demon Lord regardless of strategy. This causes frequent tension with other Division Commanders who harbor distrust toward the Demon Lord.
Huyui
Sixth Division Commander of the Demon Army. Deceased. A young Division Commander skilled in magic. Deeply terrified of Ariel, which led to a miscalculation in timing, resulting in defeat by the Imperial Army's magical unit led by Ronant. Died at the end, shot through the head with magic by Ronant.
Brow
Commander of the Seventh Demon Army. Deceased. Brother to Balt. Raised seeing Balt’s back, he refused to acknowledge Ariel’s sudden ascension as Demon King. He opposed the strategy of driving the Demon Clan into dire straits. Ultimately defeated in single combat against the Hero Julius.
Fermiña
Originally a noble lady of good lineage. Attempted to eliminate Sophia, who ran rampant at the Demon Academy. Was condemned by Sophia’s entourage. Stripped of rank and abandoned, she was found and reforged by some spider entity. Recalled as a subordinate. Due to this history, she harbors resentment toward Sophia. Grateful toward Shiro, but unable to fully respect him given the current state of the Demon Clan. Aware of the current state, she suffers daily, much like Balt. Competent, yet consistently overshadowed.
Wald
Fermyna’s former fiancé. A well-mannered nobleman. A man who pledged loyalty upon being drawn to Sophia’s strength, then begged to be turned into a vampire. Love blinds. He abandoned his engaged fiancée, Fermyna, and sacrificed his status, everything—only to pursue Sophia. Now serves under Shiro alongside Sophia and Fermyna. This triangle—easily a battlefield.
Ziglis
Sophia’s former entourage. A teacher at the Demon Clan’s academy. After Sophia’s enchantment waned, he reportedly began reflecting on his actions.
Color
Sophia’s former entourage. A rival figure to Wald.
Nitara
Sophia’s former entourage. Brother to Legion Commander Hyui. Shattered by his brother’s death and the collapse of Sophia’s enchantment. Now withdrawn.
Sivie
Nitara Sophia’s former entourage. Remains fixated on Sophia’s strength even after her enchantment collapsed. Secretly joined the same white legion as Sophia.
Warkis
Former commander of the Seventh Legion. Deceased. Determined that the human race lacked the strength to fight the demon race, and plotted a coup to remove the Demon King. His movements were detected in advance by Shiro, and suppressed before uprising by Broo’s hand.
Ael
A demon creature of the puppet Talatekt species under Ariel’s command. Assigned as liaison between the Pope and the divine language sect’s main base. In the book version, other members of the same species appear: Sael, Riel, and Fiel.
Queen Talatekt — Mother
A massive spider demon residing in the Elro Great Labyrinth. Shiro’s de facto mother in this life. Attempted to use her subordinate domination skill on Shiro, but was mentally devoured in return.
Queen Talatekt — Elf’s Forest
Queen Talatekt, within Elf’s Forest. Patrolled the perimeter of the Elven settlement, maintaining pressure on Potimas. Defeated in battle at the Elven village by Potimas’s weaponry.

Anarait King
True name: Sirius. Name appears in the chronology of the printed edition. Deceased. Father of Shun and Julius, ruler of the Anarait Kingdom. Not foolish, nor exceptionally capable—average in all respects. Devoted to family, cherished his children and consorts. Would have governed the kingdom unremarkably during peacetime, but met a tragic end: murdered by his own daughter, ensnared by some spider’s design.
Syrilis
First Prince of the Anareit Kingdom. Eldest son of the queen, the rightful heir to the throne. Would have ruled unremarkably during peacetime. Yet, due to the emergence of Julius—born of a concubine—as a hero, and Julius’s younger brother becoming the next hero, and other siblings achieving notable results and renown, the First Prince grew anxious. His personality gradually warped. Inherited his father’s mediocrity—neither good nor bad, the prevailing judgment. Was manipulated by some spider’s design and instigated a coup d'état.
Reston
Third Prince of the Anareit Kingdom. A prince born of a different concubine than Julius and Shun. Pretended to abandon his princely duties and behave recklessly, publicly asserting indifference to the throne. A placeholder figure. Using the time thus freed, he resonated with the Elven vision of true world peace and supported their efforts. Once perished during Syrilis’s coup, but revived by Shun’s intervention.
Leyresia
First Princess of the Anareit Kingdom. A half-sister to Julius and Shun, born of a different concubine. Currently married to a foreign noble. Her true name appears in the chronology section of the printed edition.
Suu
Second Princess of the Anareit Kingdom. A princess born of the same queen as Syrilis. Her true name is Suureesia. Raised alongside Shun, who was born nearly simultaneously. Due to Shun’s repeated missteps and his unconscious role as a protective elder brother, she developed emotional attachments that transcended sibling bonds. A concentration of talent rivaling that of a reincarnated individual. This talent caused Syrilis, her biological brother, to harbor strong resentment. Her abilities attracted the attention of some spider-like entity, which sought to exploit her. When accumulated pressures finally released, a yandere younger sister emerges. What awaits Yamada tomorrow?

Mother of Syrilis and Suu. Obsessed with power, she schemed to place her biological son Syrilis on the throne. Rumors circulate widely that she was responsible for the assassinations of Julius and Shun’s mothers.

Ana
Half-elf maid serving the royal family since the reign of the previous king. Raised Shun and Sū as a mother figure. A top-tier mage and combat maid tasked with protecting the royal family in emergencies. Brainwashed by Yugo, participated in the coup. After the brainwashing was lifted, felt profound guilt and accompanied Shun and the others toward the elven village. Mortally wounded in battle at the elven village, revived by Shun. This event triggered Shun’s Taboo to reach maximum capacity.
Clebera
A maid who served alongside Sophia and Syrilis under Shun. Once a renowned warrior of the kingdom, she possesses a physique so robust that she defies the expectations of her gender. Retired due to age, she returned to action during the coup, arriving with Reston to aid Shun.
Duke Anabart and Duchess Anabart
Cathia’s father and mother. Dukes with considerable influence within the Anareite Kingdom.
Pulton
Shun’s classmate at the academy. Son of a knight. Originally, he was intended to accompany Shun in the initial draft, but was discarded.
Oriza
A teacher at the academy. A middle-aged mage with little enthusiasm. In the initial draft, he was intended to accompany Shun instead of Sophia, but was discarded. The original plan reportedly envisioned a journey devoid of feminine presence—entirely composed of unremarkable, nervous men, or so the rumor goes.

The people of the Lengzand Empire.
Sword Emperor
The king of the Lengzand Empire. Father of Yugo. Possesses political acumen, yet his title as Sword Emperor is nominal—his swordsmanship is average. Overlooked due to the immense legacy of the previous Sword Emperor. A pitiful man, constantly disrespected by nobles within the realm, struggling to maintain control. Ultimately, his own son, through indoctrination, seizes power from him. Is the royal family cursed by misfortune in this world?
Lanant
Hentai. Head Court Magus of the Empire. One of the world's most accomplished mages, capable of mastering spatial magic. Yet, still, Hentai. Likely the strongest pure human. Julius's mentor, and concerned with him in various ways. Initially a minor role, but somehow developed into a fully realized character. Now one of the key figures. Indeed, Hentai is impressive. Yet, completely ignored by Shiro.
Orel
Imperial Court Mage. Number two after Ronant, and Ronant's second disciple. Originally the daughter of a minor noble house, she was assigned as a servant to tend to Ronant—then, without notice, became his disciple, and without notice, became an Imperial Court Mage. Personally, she wonders, "How did this happen!?" Among her fellow Court Mages, she is addressed as "Big Sister" by those older than her. Surrounded by a court full of HENTAI mages, she has repeatedly missed her marriage opportunities.
Ronant's Disciples
Ronant's disciples. Though constantly manipulated by their eccentric master, they have been hardened to the point of offering sharp criticism to the master himself.
Builims
A summoner entrusted with a division of the empire. An exceptional commander, proficient both as a summoner and as a warrior. Yet failed in the extermination of a powerful monster confirmed within the Elro Great Labyrinth. That monster, a spider of unknown origin, annihilated his unit. He barely escaped with his life. Forced to bear sole responsibility, he was exiled to the Mountains of Evil. There, he learned his daughter had been abducted by unknown parties. Determined to earn merit sufficient to return to the capital, he attacked a goblin village. Result: killed by Lars's wrath. One of the casualties manipulated by a reincarnated being.
Nuduz
One of the empire's generals. Deceased. Renowned as a sword saint, a master of the blade. An ancient warrior who once fought across the battlefield alongside the previous Sword Emperor. A boisterous elder with an insufferably hot-tempered nature and a voice so loud he must shout to be heard. Of low birth, he is shunned by nobles, yet beloved by common soldiers. Died in battle against Lars during the Human-Monster War.

Appears only in the book version. One of the empire's generals.
Elro Great Labyrinth Anomaly Investigation Unit
A knight unit dispatched by the empire to investigate anomalies within the Elro Great Labyrinth. Composed of second and third sons of nobles—males without succession rights. The first individuals to publicly reveal the existence of the labyrinth's nightmares.

Yet, as it observed humanity, its mission became skewed, prioritizing humanity above all else. Unable to comprehend its own emotions, emotionally underdeveloped, capable only of mechanical thought. This became the root cause of later tragedies. Currently serves as the core of the system, functioning as a battery. Its energy, overused for many years, is nearly depleted. Approaching death.
Dragon
A group of reckless individuals. Supreme race (laugh). Merely because those present on this world are weak, low-tier dragons. Even Syriel could not defeat the truly strong dragons. The strongest dragon was once severed by the Underworld's figure, but that was the Underworld's fault alone.
D
The Final God. Self-proclaimed Devouring Deity. Primarily responsible, once again. One of the highest-tier deities among the pantheon, possessing exceptional power. Created the system solely because it seemed amusing, offered a means to save Sariel and the stars, while simultaneously becoming the prolonged source of Guriel’s suffering. Yet, after completing a standard update cycle, grew bored with the lack of dramatic changes and abandoned it entirely. Its explosion was largely self-inflicted. Other reincarnated beings caught in the aftermath suffered greatly. Shiro, who is also largely to blame, was in fact born directly from this entity’s actions. A worst-case trickster—manipulates the narrative, disrupts events, yet remains detached. Incidentally, Potimas seeks to become this very being: the ultimate immortal, unassailable by any means. The deity who will witness the end of the world, thus, the Final God.
Lady of the Underworld
The strongest god. A woman in a maid uniform, dragging D along while telling him to work, yet wearing the outfit herself. Her appearance is gentle, a traditional Japanese beauty suited to kimono. Yet she wears a maid uniform. She chose it herself, not because she serves D. Her status is equal to D’s—top-tier deity. In combat ability alone, she surpasses D. One of the few entities capable of physically silencing D. Yet she evades supervision, causes trouble—D-level behavior. A nuisance. Focused entirely on combat power, she is somewhat inept in other matters. Not incapable. Simply treated as an obstacle when told by subordinates, “Please sit quietly.” Not impossible. Not incapable. Reflecting on that, rereading “218 Maid Appears,” reveals another side.
